Swin Abel (スウィン・アーベル), also known as S ^(Nadia) (すーちゃん, "Su-chan"), Three of Swords (ソードの3(スリー・オブ・ソーズ)) or Three (スリー), is the male protagonist of the 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV in-game novel series, Three & Nine.

With his partner Nadia, Swin appears in 영웅전설 시작의 궤적 as part of C's group. He and Nadia temporarily worked for the Arkride Solutions Office in S.1209.

Introduction

영웅전설 시작의 궤적

A former assassin who wields two custom blades of different lengths to adapt and overwhelm in any close-combat situation. While normally a cool and rational sort, he is often strung along by his more lively traveling companion and partner, Nadia. Her words and actions are a constant source of consternation. He and Nadia fled the very organization that raised them to kill, and they have spent their days avoiding those in pursuit of their lives ever since.

A former assassin who escaped from the Gardens several years ago. Swin wields his twin blades with expert skill. Not only is he capable of strengthening them by combining them into a single blade, but he can also use them to 'mark' his opponents' weak points. Although he may come across as a bit cold and unfriendly, it's not intentional—he's just a really straightforward guy. After escaping from the Gardens, Swin swore to never take another human life. Instead, he's opted to make his living by taking on a variety of odd jobs. And with his recent travels having resulted in a number of new connections, perhaps Swin truly has changed his ways...

A former child assassin who escaped from an organization known as the Gardens. In combat, he wields a pair of twin blades capable of marking targets and combining into a single weapon. Though many assume him to be an indifferent and coldhearted young man at a glance, the reality is that he simply prioritizes common sense and candor above all else. After escaping the Gardens, Swin and Nadia swore an oath to never again take a human life. With this oath in their hearts, they set off to forge a new path in their own lives, meeting Rufus and Lapis along the way. Recently, Swin received a message from Rufus asking him and Nadia to meet him in Tharbad. Little did he know, however, that a certain Dominion would be joining their reunion—a Dominion who once hunted assassins from the Gardens down as heretics...

Appearance

Swin a boy with messy dark brown hair and orange-peach eyes. He wears a gray shirt, black trousers, dark brown boots and a blue jacket with a white hood. Across his chest and wrist are black straps with intersect and make a cross pattern. He also wears a black choker, gloves and has a belt with the numerals for '3' upon them. Swin carries a unique, the Gardens-made pair of blades which interconnect, and double as an orbment. The handles and plating are purple with the blade itself being gray and silver.

In his older, Calvard appearance, Swin now has tighter fitting clothing, replacing his long jacket for a shorter, more blue one with long white sleeves. A yellow ribbon is tied around one arm. He now wears knee high boots made of a blakc leather material.

Personality

Swin is level-headed and thinks situations through in his head before acting. He is a capable actor, but nowhere near to the degree of his partner Nadia. He can be cold, standoffish and prone to pessimism, but will use any means to assure the safety of his partner. He has been troubled by his dark past, having nightmares about the screams and victims. Now, he is resolved never to take another life again.
