Background
During the second field exercises of Thors Branch Campus, a bug arises in the F Sector, causing cascading issues across the orbal network. Before the Royal inspection arrives to Crossbell, Tio Plato, now Chief of Crossbell's branch of the Epstein Foundation, asks Class VII to escort her to the location since the Governor-General has his forces busy handling security for the event.
Tio senses fluctuations of mana during the trip, but nothing like the activation of the Azure-Zero Project. However at the Terminal room, a Magic Knight appears, a phenomenon usually restricted to Erebonia, and they are able to defeat it with help from Alisa Reinford and Sharon Kreuger.

Background
On September 1st, the Special Support Section along with Rean and Juna track the missing people to the F Sector, which has become otherworldly. They find and rescue the people from various monsters feeding on their regrets, ending with one of the Seventy-Seven Devils that was feeding on Diana, Elie's mother.
