Bryonia Island (ブリオニア

Bryonia Island, known throughout Erebonia for its ruins, features a colossal statue similar to the Guardian found in the Nord Highlands. Although the island is currently uninhabited, there are still remnants of the island's Dark Age animist settlers who lived in circular stone huts reminiscent of igloos. They lived here until the Middle Ages, after which they abandoned the island.

The statue is actually the empty shell of Ark Rouge, the Sept-Terrion of Fire. Around 1,200 years ago, around the time of the Great Collapse, Ark Rouge engaged in a fight with Lost Zem, the Sept-Terrion of Earth, in the area now known as the Osgiliath Basin. In the aftermath of the fight, Ark Rouge and Lost Zem merged to form the Great One, and Ark Rouge's remains were sent flying to its current resting place on Bryonia Island.

Class VII's Group B travel to Bryonia Island during one of their field studies. Their activities there are unknown, but the participating members comment upon the giant stone figure.

Background
Rean Schwarzer and the new Class VII come to Bryonia Island during their field exercise in the Lamare region after Millium Orion goes missing. After exploring the island, they discover several animist monuments that, when combined with Emma's pendant, together reveal the Sol Shrine (陽霊窟). Inside, Rean faces the Stahlritter and Arianrhod, who are using the location's mana to charge the Aion Type-αII.

Background
After freeing Rean from the Black Workshop, Crow Armbrust tells Class VII to head to Bryonia Island in order to carry out the first Rivalry ahead of time in Sol Shrine. Valimar wins and starts to absorb Ordine's power, but as Crow's Immortal life is only sustained by the Divine Knight, Rean refuses and makes Ordine into a retainer, keeping Crow alive. They stay at the lodge afterwards, and invite Duvalie to join them as she's renounced the Stahlritter and has no way to return to land otherwise.
