Cassius Bright (カシウス・ブライト), also known as the Divine Blade (剣聖), is a lieutenant general in the Royal Army of Liberl and a former S-rank bracer.

The legendary commander of the Royal Army of Liberl, known for routing the Imperial Army in the Hundred Days War 14 years ago. Having studied under Yun Ka-fai of the Eight Leaves One Blade School, Cassius achieved mastery of the style and is known as the Divine Blade. He retired from the army after losing his wife in the Hundred Days War, choosing to help people as a bracer instead. His exploits across Zemuria earned him a promotion to S-rank bracer, given to only to a small handful of individuals. After the Erebonian guild branches were attacked and the coup d'etat in Liberl, he returned to active duty in the military. Since then, Cassius has been helping rebuild the Royal Army of Liberl while working alongside Prince Olivert to keep an eye on the suspicious movements of the Erebonian government.[2]Appearance
Cassius is a middle aged man sporting a fancy haircut and moustache. His casual attire is a green vest over his long white shirt, a brown belt with a red ribbon tie. He also wears black trousers with red protective pieces over his waist and shins. As the commander of the Liberlian Army, Cassius wears the green uniform of the Royal Army, complete with red coat tails and a red cape draped across one shoulder and tied with golden cord.
Personality
Around Estelle and Joshua, Cassius acts like an average silly, doting father. He cares deeply for his family and will do anything to protect them. However, when it comes to his work, Cassius becomes a very serious, hard-working person. Cassius is shown to possess a keen mind, and was able to successfully outwit both Ouroboros and Giliath Osborne and their plans for invading Liberl. His influence across the Zemurian continent is extraordinary due to his past actions and rank with the Bracer Guild.
