Saint-Croix Forest (サントクロワの森) is a training area part of the Le Locle region of Leman State.

Background

Saint-Croix Forest is a large forest used by the Bracer Guild to act as a training area to test bracers' wilderness survival skills. The forest provides ample opportunity to train hunting, fishing, camping and plant gathering, as well as using the monsters for battle training.

After jaegers attack the lodge during Estelle and Anelace's training, the two awaken in the deepest part of the forest with no equipment. They're able to reclaim their gear and fight past a female jaeger preventing their return to the lodge, who taunts them with the capture of Kurt Nardin by the jaegers.

Background

Saint-Croix Forest is the second area accessible after Kevin and Joshua release Anelace from her Sealing Stone. This version of the forest is identical to the original, save for the color of the trees.

Within the forest, they find Gilbert being punished by beastmen. Kevin and Joshua free him, and after revealing he was captured for stealing the beastmen's food, he runs off by himself. Deeper in the forest, Kevin and Joshua fight a doppelganger of Scherazard, who drops her Sealing Stone afterwards.
