Anelace Elfead (アネラス・エルフィード) is a bracer affiliated with the Bose branch in Liberl. As the granddaughter of the famous swordsman Yun Ka-fai, Anelace specialises in the Eight Leaves One Blade school of swordsmanship.

Introduction

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter

A young woman who only recently became a senior bracer in the Bose branch. She is recognized by her large ribbon and her fondness for cute things. Her grandfather is Yun Ka-fai, the founder of the Eastern sword style "Eight Leaves One Blade". Although she is not her grandfather's direct disciple and is still in the process of developing her skills, she shows considerable potential as a swordswoman.

A young female bracer who aspires to follow the path of the sword. She has a strong desire to improve, but a straightforward personality and doesn't get hung up on small details. She has only recently become a full-fledged bracer, and is aware that she lacks practical experience, but seeing Estelle's performance motivates her to try harder too. She has a weakness for cute things, and apparently visits fancy shops in her spare time.

Appearance

Anelace is a young woman with light brown hair and lavender eyes. She wears a yellow ribbon hair band in her hair. During the Liberl arc, Anelace wore a short red minidress with a belt around her waist. This dress was covered in blue armor plates: one around her chest, one on her right shoulder and several around her waist. She also wore above-knee stockings, tan leg warmers and elbow length black coverings ending in white fingerless gloves.

An older Anelace now wears a white shirt over a black vest, with a cropped denim jacket and blue fingerless gloves. She has a pleated red miniskirt and black thigh-high stockings, along with brown boots.

Anelace uses a katana in combat. She was given 'Jinu', Cassius Bright's old blade.

Personality

Anelace has a bright cheerful personality. She can be kind to others and is really talkative. She can also be a bit ditzy and has a hard time waking up. Anelace has a massive love for all sorts of cute things. She also sees Estelle Bright as her rival.

Trivia

• Anelace has not been confirmed as having a particular style of the Eight Leaves One Blade school, but her most powerful crafts, Piercing wave suggests she favours the Sixth Form: Scarlet Sky.
• Her name "Anelace" also comes from a type of a long dagger from the medieval 14th century. These daggers are often worn as an accoutrements on a person's griddle.
