Kurogane (クロガネ) is a member of the Ikaruga jaeger group from the East, first mentioned in 영웅전설 시작의 궤적 before making a proper appearance in 영웅전설 여의 궤적.
A masked, powerful man who serves "princess" Shizuna, vice-commander of the Ikaruga clan of the East. One of the "shinobi" of the eastern traditions, he exudes the aura of a true warrior that can only be possessed by those who have survived through countless battlefields.
While Ikaruga has many shinobi and skilled masters of Tachi, Kurogane's superhuman body, martial arts, and polished Rougetsu school hidden weapon techniques make him as strong as the Enforcers of Ouroboros.[1]He is a massive, muscular man who covers his face with a mask and helmet that completely hide his facial appearance, leaving only two beady eyes. He seems to wear dark plate armor with baggy materials including two long violet scarves trailing behind him. He carries a long double-bladed chakram with long protrusions on each cardinal direction. This weapon is capable of being split into two equal halves, each a double sabre, and thrown. Under the helmet, Kurogane has dark hair and a scar across his face.
Kurogane is a stoic individual who is fiercely loyal to the captain of the Ikaruga, Shizuna Rem Misurugi. He has Ikaruga's best interests at heart and will move to actively challenge anyone who might hinder their ambitions. He serious at his job and will wear his full black clothing even in difficult hot or sun burn environments without fatigue. Kurogane is not above making jokes, but his typical serious nature often means they are unexpected and people take him at his first word. He speaks like an archaic samurai in the original version. He also has an interest in Gotti's movies.
