The Sept-Terrions (
The Sept-Terrion play a major part in each arc and are related to each phase of the Orpheus Final Plan drafted by the Grandmaster of Ouroboros. According to Campanella, observing the paths the seven Sept-Terrion take when placed in the hands of mankind in this possible world is the driving force behind Ouroboros and the Grandmaster’s plan.
Background
According to legends and scriptures of the Septian Church, the Sept-Terrions were lost when the ancient civilizations fell during the Great Collapse.
Each Sept-Terrion was assigned a Holy Beast to watch over it by the Goddess. Each also has an associated human kinship that either controlled or managed the Sept-Terrion during the ancient Zemurian period before its removal from history.
One of the most important impetuses of the Trails series' overarching plot is Ouroboros' quest to locate the Sept-Terrions which is relate to each phase of the Orpheus Final Plan.
Among the Sept-Terrions, at least the Ark Rouge (Soul) and Lost Zem (Physical Body) are capable of executing the Sacrament Program.

- The flowers on each Master Arts card are:
- Earth: the philodendron symbolizing health and abundance in the language of flowers.
- Fire: the hollyhock symbolizes fertility, life, and rebirth. In the Victorian era, it also represented ambition and creativity.
- Water: the purple hydrangea; empathy.
- Wind: the honeysuckle meaning to live the sweet and easy life.
- Time: the diabolo ninebark has no meaning by itself but is a member of the hawthorn tree family meaning hope and the rose family which has different meanings based on the color. The black rose symbolizes death and the white rose purity/innocence.
- Space: the yellow carnation; rejection.
- Mirage: the lily symbolizing chastity and innocence or the Easter lily symbolizing hope, new life, and resurrection.
