제국에는 전통적인 다양한 보드게임과 카드 게임이 있어 과거에는 귀족의 취미로서 서민의 기분전환용 놀이로서 사랑받아 왔습니다. 최근 그런 문화를 배경으로 새로운 대전식 카드 게임이 만들어졌으며, 본고에서는 동서고금의 대표적인 게임을 소개하도록 하겠습니다.

【체스】

6종류 16개의 말을 사용해 대전하는 2인용 게임. 상대의 킹에게 체크메이트를 하면 승리. 제국에서는 귀족계급의 교양으로서 즐겨왔지만 일반인들에게도 인기가 높다. 제국은 물론 국제적으로도 인기가 높아 프로 리그도 존재한다.

【체커】

가로세로 8칸의 체스 보드에서 빨강과 검정의 12개의 동그란 말을 사선으로 움직여 싸우는 2인용 게임. 대개 체크 세트에 말이 부속되어 있다. 국제적으로는 10칸의 판을 사용하는 규칙도 존재한다.

【백개먼】

판 위에 배치된 15개의 말을 먼저 골 시키는 것을 겨루는 게임. 주사위를 사용하기에 운에 좌우되지만 장기적인 전략도 필요하다. 카지노의 대표적인 게임 중 하나로 과거에는 제국법으로 금지되기도 했었다.

【도미노】

주사위 면을 2개 연결한 듯한 패 세트를 사용한 게임. 2인～4인으로 즐길 수 있어 같은 숫자의 눈이 맞도록 배치해 나가는 퍼즐적인 재미가 특징이다. 다양한 규칙이 존재하지만 도미노 쓰러뜨리기 같은 놀이법도 인기이다.

【트럼프】

누구나 아는 카드 게임의 대표. 스페이드・다이아몬드・클럽・하트의 13종 52장의 카드를 1세트로 하여, 다양한 규칙으로 게임을 즐길 수 있다. 대표적인 놀이법으로는 포커, 브릿지, 블랙잭 등이 있으며, 도둑 잡기나 하우스 오브 카드 등의 놀이법도 있다.

【블레이드】

줄라이 지방에서 고안된 대전식 카드 게임. 무기를 모티프로 한 숫자가 적힌 패를 근소한 차로 높은 카드를 내밀며 싸우기 때문에 “도（블레이드）”라는 이름이 붙었다고 한다. 후에 규칙을 확장한 블레이드Ⅱ로 발전했다.

【VM（밴티지 마스터즈）】

제국 서부가 발상지라 전해지는 대전형 전술 카드 게임. 네이티얼이라 불리는 지・수・화・천속성의 정령 카드를 소환・사역하여 상대 마스터 카드의 체력점을 서로 줄여나간다. 최근, 규칙과 카드 종류가 정비되어 더욱 재미있어졌다.

The empire has many traditional board and card games. Historically, they were enjoyed as a pastime of the common people with noble taste. Recently, card games based on this historical background have been created. This book introduces such games that are enjoyed by people of all ages.

[Chess]

A game where two people battle with 16 pieces, with six different types. Bring the opponent's king to bay (checkmate) to win. It was created as part of nobles' education but is popular among all people, with Imperial and international professional leagues.

[Checkers]

A two-person game that uses an 8x8 chess board where 12 red and black pieces can only move diagonally. The pieces are commonly included with a chess set. Internationally, rules for a 10x10 board also exist.

[Backgammon]

A game that is a race to get 15 pieces on the board to the goal first. The use of dice makes the game luck based, and it requires long-term strategy. It's also a common game at casinos and was previously banned by Imperial law.

[Dominoes]

A game that uses a set of tiles with two numbers like the face of a die. Two to four people can play this game which is characterized by puzzle-like gamplay of placing tiles to match numbers. There are many different ways to play, and they can even be used for domino touling.

[Cards]

The well-known base to many card games. Several different games can be played with this deck of 52 cards that has 13 of each of the suits: spades, diamonds, clubs, and hearts. Popular games are poker, bridge, blackjack, old witch (also called old maid), and many more. Can also be used for a card matching memory game and building card towers.

[Blade]

A battle card game thought up in the Jurai region. The name 'Blade' is said to have come from playing by placing cards with numbers and weapon motifs on top of one another. Later, Blade II with expanded rules was developed.

[Vantage Masters]

A competitive battle card game that originated in western Erebonia. Summon and use spirit cards called Natial with earth, water, fire, and air attributes to whittle down the health of each other's Master card. Rules and card types were recently adjusted, and further developments are expected.

　ダイスの面を２つ接続したような牌のセットを使って行うゲ
ーム。２人～４人で遊ぶこと可能で、同じ数字の目を合わせる

することで互いのマスターカードの体力点を削り合う。近年ル
ールやカードの種類が整備され、更なる発展が見込まれる。
