His charges include accessory to terrorism, illegal arrest of diet members, leading a coup, and misuse of government property, amongst other crimes. We expect that the president will be transferred to the First Division's custody before long.
The Resulting Situation:
The breadth of President Crois' crimes has finally been brought to light. Despite his conspiracy, the president remains in his position and no formal arrest warrant has been issued for him. Our reporter on the ground was able to witness the events unfold, and it is thanks to their efforts that we are able to bring readers this report.

◆The Startling Circumstances◆
The following report concerns a matter of state law. The process by which Crossbell attempted to declare independence was illegal, and thus the crimes that took place in that process must be brought to light.
According to the investigation conducted by the Special Support Section, President Crois employed the Red Constellation jaeger corps and ordered them to attack Crossbell and commit destructive acts. By doing so, the president was able to create a dire situation used to sway the public's opinion. From referendum to declaration of independence, the entire movement was predicated on deceit.
The president himself has admitted to the nature of the aforementioned acts of conspiracy. There can be no doubt that the events taking place in Crossbell over the past several months were all by his design.

디터 크로이스 was elected mayor following the cult incident. Aside his numerous political reforms, he forced the state to become independent and positioned himself as its ruler. It is believed that the president also responsible for the terrorist attacks and the cult incident, among others.

A police investigation aimed to bring Crois' scheme to light sooner, but the officers involved were detained and imprisoned.
Some officers were able to evade the Defense Force, and succeeded in freeing Speaker MacDowell, who was being held under house arrest. The speaker then declared the state's independence invalid and detailed how the president's actions in doing so were unlawful.
After the declaration, police officers, who had been unable to act until then, stormed Orchis Tower with intent on resolving the conflict and freeing Crossbell City. The operation ended with the dramatic arrest of the president.

Now that President Crois is in custody and the barrier surrounding Crossbell City has fallen, the safety of the citizenry has been assured. Unfortunately, the state remains in an extremely tenuous position.
