[Local] Recent Distrust of Hospital. And Commotion at Night?

In relation to the riots which occurred at Anchorville General Hospital yesterday, an illegal drug manufacturing facility was found beneath the site. According to police, it was constructed by the previous medical director—who was arrested last year—in collusion with the mafia. It's unclear why it remained undiscovered until now, but regardless, it's hard not to think of the hospital's management team, including with the current medical director, as anything but suspect.
Incidentally, as you're all no doubt aware, a heavy fog suddenly materialized in Anchorville on that same night. No serious incidents have been reported as of yet, but there are whispers of bedlam in the wind among nervous citizens and tourists. A small number of indentations resembling bullet holes and traces of what appear to be monster footprints have been found scattered about in one section of the city. While details remain unclear, it doesn't seem like this can be written off as a simple case of false memories of mass hysteria.
What's more, a skirmish at the Anchorville Logistics Center has taken place, and police and bracers are still investigating the scene. It's not out of the realm of possibility that this bears relation to the commotion within the city. We will continue our coverage on this story as it unfolds, and if we receive further updates, you will be the first to know.

[Society] It's Rocket Launch Day! Joint Military Exercise to Coincide

The final stage of Project Startaker has arrived at last. Many tourists have made the trek to Longlai, which is near the space base, to watch the launch, and throngs of people have gathered in front of broadcast trucks parked in Anchorville and other areas. All we can do now is watch this historic moment play out, with faith in our hearts that this great undertaking—a first for humankind—will succeed, and that Major Emilia will return home safely.
In addition, Republican Army joint exercises will be held all over Calvard to coincide with the launch. I'm sure our readers have on occasion spotted flying cruisers or military vehicles moving about in the skies and on the roads. The exercises are a precautionary measure to ensure a quick response to objects falling from on high in the unlikely event that the launch ends in failure, and to test data links between space and the earth's surface.
Some of these exercises will use live munitions as well, and as a result, certain areas around the Republic have been designated off limits. In the interest of safety, we hope that our readers will follow the instructions of the local government and police when traveling to the outskirts.

[Tourism] City Revitalization with a Focus on Microtourism

Have you ever heard of the term 'microtourism'? For the uninitiated, this refers to short trips to places relatively close to where you live. Easy trips, in other words. It's become a trend in recent years, especially among the younger generation due to its cost-saving benefits, and Anchorville, in both the public and private sectors, is prepared to capitalize on this revitalize the city.
Although Anchorville isn't an unpopular tourist spot, it pales in comparison to Oración and Langport, with their smatterings of unique characteristics. However, its strength lies in its proximity to the capital and Oración, which the city and the tourism bureau is honing in on.
At present, Anchorville is fervently molding an environment to make casual visits among the younger generation easier by developing a private lodging system and offering city-backed support for accommodations. At the same time, Anchorville will be promoting widely-known local specialties and put its history and culture on display to broadcast the city's charms to as many people as possible. As a news agency rooted in Anchorville, we're more than happy to support this initiative in whatever ways we can.
