Fie Claussell (フィー・クラウゼル), also known as Sylphid (西風の妖精(シルフィード)), is introduced as a member of Thors Military Academy's Class VII and former member of the jaeger corps Zephyr.

Introduction

영웅전설 섬의 궤적

A girl with roughly trimmed silver hair, member of Class VII. She always looks sleepy and a bit lazy, and has an habit of sleeping anywhere like a cat. Her background before entering the academy is unknown, but despite her small stature, she has incredible physical abilities and is adept at using her twin gunswords. Although she may seem difficult to approach at first glance, she is not bad at socializing and will often joke around with quite a straight face. Perhaps because she is two years younger than the rest of the Class, she is not good at studying, and is often taught by Emma and Alisa.

A former jaeger and daughter figure to the late Jaeger King, though her corps abandoned her for reasons unknown. Fie's small build belies her abilities as an efficient fighter in battle, and though she felt no particular attachment to Class VII in the beginning, she now considers it her new "family" and would do anything to protect its members from harm.

A girl who was raised in a jaeger corps and who went by the name "Sylphid." After her corps (known as Zephyr) lost its leader and disbanded, she ended up being scouted by Sara and dragged off to Thors, where she was put in Class VII. It was thanks to this that she found a new family and a new place to belong in Class VII. During the civil war, she happened to reunite with two members of Zephyr, but in the end, they disappeared, only telling her they were going to "bring back the boss." In order to investigate what they meant by this and help Class VII out, she decided to join the Bracer Guild after graduating from Thors. Though the sanctions against bracers in Erebonia had only grown more strict recently, she passed the bracer exam under Sara and Toval's guidance and became one of the youngest senior bracers at 16. Now, she works alongside Sara, doing bracer work all over the country while trying to track down her former corps members.

A young bracer with astounding combat prowess and physical capability, raised from youth by a jaeger corps known as Zephyr. A reunion with Xeno and Leonidas—her former allies—during the civil war made her determined to take up the path of a bracer, leading to her qualification into the guild under the guidance of Instructor Sara. While working in and out of Erebonia, she encountered her former boss, Rutger—long thought to have been dead—as well as Xeno and Leonidas, who had both vanished at the end of the civil war. She managed to prove to Rutger the extent of her growth as a bracer, but the advent of the Empire's curse prevented her from discovering the truth behind his return, as well as Zephyr's alliance with the Gnomes.

A young bracer with extraordinary physical prowess and a member of Class VII. Once a jaeger with the Zephyr corps, it was only after meeting the bracer Sara Valestein and spending time at Thors Military Academy that she changed her course and got her bracer license. The Great Twilight filled her with renewed conviction about her chosen path, when she witnessed the death of the man who once raised her as his daughter, Rutger. After the disaster passed, she began climbing the ranks of the Bracer Guild as 'Sylphid,' her old nickname from her jaeger days. Many have high hopes for her as a rising star.

A B-ranked bracer from the Erebonian Bracer Guild, known as "Sylphid." She's traveled from the Empire to help with the many large and small cases that are overwhelming bracers in the Republic. She grew up as a jaeger with the Zephyr corps and retains her physical prowess and combat skills from her upbringing. She's much more mischievous than her stoic first impression would suggest. In particular, she can't resist teasing the more straight-laced Elaine.

A B-rank bracer from Erebonia's Bracer Guild known by the nickname 'Sylphid.' Last year, she aided Zin, Elaine, and the others in their fight against Almata. Now on temporary assignment in Calvard once more, she recently rendezvoused with Rean, Crow, and Altina, who were unofficially invited to the country. Having established a rapport with Arkride Solutions, in part through Feri, with whom she shares mutual acquaintances, Fie proposes that they use her connection to Van to their advantage...

Appearance

Fie is a young woman with stark white hair and lime green eyes. During her days at Thors, Fie wore the red blazer uniform of Class VII complete with a short tan skirt, lavender bow, black socks and green sneakers.

During the October War, Fie reverts to wearing a Zephyr style black coat, worn unbuttoned over a green crop top and gray shorts. She now wears a black scarf with a green cross emblazoned upon it, goggles, striped socks and high heeled lace-up boots in green.

As a bracer, Fie grows her hair out to mid back and now wears a white and white crop top with a sleeveless beige cropped jacket above. She also wears a a beige miniskirt, a dark turquoise scarf, black elbow length gloves and black thigh high boots.

In 영웅전설 여의 궤적, Fie returns with a new outfit consisting of a sleeveless khaki shirt, blue underbust corset, white pleated skirt, black shoulder length arm coverings and thigh high black boots. She wears a series of brown belts to fasten her outfit together and now sports a blue beret with a golden wing motif. The blue in her outfit and attacks is stated to reference to her friendship with Laura S. Arseid.

Fie is armed with twin gunswords, short pistol-like weapons that double as both blades and firearms. They are capable of rapid firing and being thrown like chakrams. An inscription on the base of the handles read,

“Sylpheed
Look at the invisible
Hear what you can't hear
The truth is ahead”

Personality

Fie is a quiet girl who doesn't take a strong interest in many things. She doesn't focus much on studying, and tends to slack off by sleeping anywhere around the school being the fact that she is much younger members of her class. Nevertheless, as she was raised as a jaeger, Fie is more focused and serious on the battlefield.

At the begining Fie wasn't interesting interacting with her classmate and mostly indifferent how they feel about her while she may seem difficult to approach at first glance, she is not bad at socializing though her background as a jaeger put her at odd with Laura as her making their relation tense but not as bad as the relationship between Jusis and Machias.

As she matures, she becomes much more playful and interactive, often teasing the others and become more cloeses to her classmates.

• Fie's bonding trophy in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 III is titled "High Fie-delity".
• Fie's bonding trophy in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV is titled "Fairy Tale Ending."
• Fie currently has the highest number of playable appearances in the Trails series at 8, being playable in each Cold Steel game, Reverie, and each Calvard arc game (post-update for 영웅전설 여의 궤적 II). And unlike the runners-up (Estelle Bright, Joshua Bright, Agate Crosner, and Tita Russell), her games were all released back-to-back, meaning that she simultaneously holds the record for the "highest amount of consecutive playable appearances."
• Fie shares her English voice actress with Alfin Reise Arnor, Anelace Elfead, and Lila.
• Fie's weapons strongly resemble Gunblades from the Final Fantasy, introduced in Final Fantasy VIII and later featured in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV. However, hers are used in a pair, and are smaller, being based on daggers rather than full length swords.
