Bleublanc (ブルブラン), also known as Phantom Thief B (怪盗紳士(かいとうしんし); 怪盗B(かいとうビー)), is a thief known for stealing priceless objects all over Western Zemuria. He is also Enforcer No. X of Ouroboros.

Introduction

Enforcer No.X. A masked phantom thief who operates secretly mainly in the big cities of continental countries. He joined Ouroboros in order to put into practice his philosophy, that "beauty is something to be proud of". Contrary to his theatrical behavior, he is also a master of martial arts, making full use of tricky techniques.

Ouroboros' Enforcer No. X, also known as the Phantom Thief. A Trails series regular, Bleublanc continues his pursuit of beauty in all its splendid forms, much to the annoyance of those who happen to fall victim to his various riddles. He has a flair for drama and revels in theatrics, but a refined, darkly sinister side sits underneath it all, savoring the misfortune of others like a fine wine...assuming said misfortunate is beautiful, of course.

Appearance

Bleublanc appears to be a somewhat moderately aged man with blue hair and yellow eyes. As an Enforcer, he usually wears a metal mask that covers his eyes, elongated with two sets of feathers pointed outwards at the ends to look like ears. He wears a blue shirt, with a white, unbuttoned tuxedo on top of it.

Being a master of disguise, Bleublanc can also imitate the appearances of others and also utilizes some of his own. In his "Baron" disguise, Bleublanc simply removes his mask.

In battle, he uses an orbal staff.

Personality

Bleublanc has a flamboyant and theatrical personality. He is very vain about his looks and narcissistic and egotistical to a point. A master thief, Bleublanc originally stole to survive, but now does so for the thrill. His thefts are usually not ill-intended, but instead a way to challenge people through mysterious cryptics he leaves behind.

He is entranced by Princess Klaudia von Auslese's beauty and admits that he is in love with her.

He has vain ideas about beauty, attributing it with pride. This puts him at odds with Olivert Reise Arnor, who values beauty as a byproduct of love, and he considers Olivert to be his rival. Despite their differences, he ultimately respects Olivert and is willing to lend a hand when needed to see how he prevails in the face of adversity.

• Bleublanc is notable for appearing, either in person or via letter, in nearly every game in the series, only missing Daybreak and Daybreak II.
  • He appears directly in 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 SC and the 3rd, 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 I and II, and 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV.
  • He appears in 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 FC in the guise of Dario, as revealed in SC.
  • He appears in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 III in the guise of an NPC named "Aleister", as revealed in CS4.
  • He communicates with the Special Support Section via calling cards in both 영웅전설 제로의 궤적 and 벽의 궤적, but does not physically appear in either of them.
  • He sends Olivert a card in 영웅전설 시작의 궤적, though again does not appear himself.
  • While he doesn't personally appear or communicate in 영웅전설 여의 궤적 II, he is specifically mentioned as among those who help with Renne's birthday present.
  • He appears in 영웅전설 계의 궤적 in the guise of an unnamed NPC.
• Bleublanc is modelled after the fictional gentleman thief Arsène Lupin and even borrows his alias of "phantom thief".
• His name is French for 'Blue-white'.
• Bleublanc is the only Enforcer who participated in both the Gospel Plan in Liberl and the Phantasmal Blaze Plan in Erebonia. Campanella was only an observer during the former, and did not participate in the latter until its attempted reclamation from Giliath Osborne (by which point Bleublanc had abandoned the plan).
• His corresponding Tarot (X- The Wheel of Fortune) could be said to reflect his temperamental and sporadic actions and thefts. Whether his actions are of benefit or disadvantage to you (i.e. fortune) is solely dependent on his mood and desires.
