Introduction

A girl who works for the Epstein Foundation, one of the continent's leading technological institutes. Tio was assigned to the CPD on a temporary basis as part of her task of field testing the orbal staff, a newly-developed weapon from the foundation. Very intelligent and technologically savvy, she is a frequent source of information for the other SSS members. Her stiff manner of speech and coolheaded personality make her seem standoffish, giving the impression she doesn't like interacting with people. However, the truth is that she simply struggles to express herself. The orbal staff she uses in battle can deal powerful magical damage and even reconfigure itself into different forms, depending on its current mode.

A calm and collected, if somewhat distant, girl who transferred to the Crossbell Police Department from the Epstein Foundation. In addition to her enhanced sensory receptivity, she wields a special weapon developed by the foundation known as an orbal staff. After the temporary dissolution of the SSS, she returned to the Epstein Foundation's headquarters in Leman to continue her work on the orbal network.

The young Chief of Research at the Epstein Foundation's Crossbell branch. She's developing something called the Aeon system, which can sync people's minds with machines to allow for much faster information processing. Due to special circumstances, she's been working with the Epstein Foundation since she was a child, but at the age of 14, she was sent to Crossbell to help develop the orbal network. While in Crossbell, she tested prototypes of the orbal staff and the Aeon system while helping Randolph and her other friends in the SSS solve cases. After Crossbell was annexed by Erebonia, she was called back to the Epstein Foundation's headquarters in Leman, but decided to return to Crossbell to help her friends. Though she's under constant surveillance by the empire's Intelligence Division, she continues her research projects while secretly aiding the resistance.

A member of the SSS and a young genius who was recently promoted to Chief of the Epstein Foundation's Crossbell branch. After Crossbell was annexed, she returned to the Foundation's main headquarters for a while, but was sent back to Crossbell not long thereafter to oversee the branch there. Though she was being closely monitored by the Intelligence Division, she worked with Alisa and the RF Group to help locate the members of Ouroboros while keeping in touch with Randy at the branch campus. However, it seems that no one has heard from her since the crisis in Heimdallr.

A young, bright researcher for the Crossbell branch of the Epstein Foundation and a member of the Special Support Section. Tio was kept under heavy observation by the Imperial Intelligence Division during Crossbell's occupation, limiting her movements drastically. Yet even with the situation as it was, she remained dogged in her desire to support her fellow SSS companions. This desire helped her make contact with new and old Class VII members from Erebonia, as well as spark particularly close friendships with engineers like the Reinford Group's Alisa Reinford and Liberlian foreign exchange student Tita Russell. Upon Crossbell's freedom being reclaimed, she resumed her duties as a member of the SSS. She has also continued to blossom as a researcher in orbal tech, working in tandem with industry giants like Zeiss Central Factory and the Reinford Group to engineer a better tomorrow.

Appearance

Tio is a petite young woman with blue hair and amber eyes. She wears most of her hair in twintails while leaving some of it down. She wears a mauve colored dress underneath a matching cape. She also wears long black sleeves and stockings, which together with the rest of her outfit possess a gold trim. On her chest she wears the large Aeon System unit, which interfaces with her headband resembling cat ears that glow when using her enhanced 'senses'.

In her appearances in the Cold Steel series, she wears a white coat over her dress instead of her cape, in the same shade as her old friend and former co-worker Randy Orlando. She no longer sports the chest protector but keeps the headband. The gold trim is either replaced with silver or gone completely.

Tio carries an experimental orbal staff consisting of a long slender pole with golden ornaments on top. As an orbal staff tester for the Epstein foundation, Tio has to write general reports on its usage. The staff displays the ability to change form when using different modes and attacks- displaying at least two alternative forms.

Personality

Tio is a small and reserved girl. She is very polite at first meeting, but warms up overtime and gives a bit of subtle sass and jokes around alot, teasing her acquaintances.

Tio loves all things cute, and may not always admit it. She has a transcendent love for all things Mishy and is perhaps one of the most devout fans of the franchise, knowing all the lore and watching the performances fervently.

• Tio is one of two playable characters in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 III who does not have an S-Craft, the other being Tita Russell.
• "Tio" translates to the number "Ten" in Swedish.
• "Tio Plato" translates to "Uncle Plate" in Spanish.
• According to Estelle during their first meeting, she giggled about her and Lloyd's names being the same as her friend's name home in Liberl
• Tio appeared as a collectible character in the gacha game Mega Miracle Force to promote '영웅전설 시작의 궤적'.
