Introduction

영웅전설 섬의 궤적 II

The leading swordswoman in the Stahlritter, a combat unit under the direct command of the "Steel Maiden": Arianrhod, Seventh Anguis of Ouroboros. Nicknamed "The Swift" due to her overwhelming speed, said to rival that of the Bladelord, she uses her agility to eliminate her enemies in the blink of an eye. She is fascinated by her master Arianrhod and acts out of her loyalty, but she can also be a bit too emotional, which sometimes lead her to unexpected mistakes. She seems to harbor a strange rivalry towards Laura's lineage, the Arseid family...

The head knight of the Stahlritter, the knights who serve the Steel Maiden, Arianrhod. Though her strength is comparable to that of an Enforcer's, her adoration for Arianrhod is so strong that it's sometimes hard for others to take Duvalie seriously. Because of this, the other members of the Stahlritter will often tease her. During the civil war, she followed her lord's orders and fought against Class VII as an ally of the Noble Faction. For some reason, she felt an intense feeling of rivalry toward Laura. A year and a half later, she takes action in Erebonia once more as part of Ouroboros' efforts to reclaim the Phantasmal Blaze Plan.

A swordsman who serves as head knight of the Stahlritter, the squad of knights who work directly under the Steel Maiden. Her specialty lies in sword techniques that utilize overwhelming speed, earning her the title "the Swift." In terms of combat ability, she's on par with several of the Enforcers. She adores the Steel Maiden and hangs on her every word, to the point where she'll often be teased by not only fellow members of Ouroboros but opponents such as Class VII. After finding out that the ritual her lord and Ouroboros assisted Osborne with will bring about the end of the world, she began to harbor doubts about Arianrhod for the first time...

영웅전설 시작의 궤적

A knight who serves as head of the Stahlritter under Ouroboros. She earned the title 'Duvalie the Swift' thanks to her lightning-fast sword techniques. When unsettled by the movements within Ouroboros, she left her position to seek proper answers from her lord, Arianrhod, even joining up with Rean and Class VII for a time as they fought against her comrades. Through spending time with Class VII and hearing her lord's true intentions in her last moments, Duvalie managed to grow both as a warrior and as a woman. After the disaster passed, she returned to Ouroboros. However, she became determined to lead the Stahlritter in a manner she believed was just, regardless of the faction it belonged to. This led her to Crossbell where, clad in armor once more, she faced off against some soldiers plotting in the shadows...

Appearance

Although her age is not known, Duvalie is younger than her fellow knights Ines and Ennea. She is a young woman with green eyes and braids in her hair.

While on Stahlritter duties, Duvalie wears their usual armor: a series of silver plates over a form fitting black outfit with a violet skirt emblazoned with the Ouroboros insignia. Her sollerets and jewelled headpiece also feature white feathers.

When not on duties or going incognito, Duvalie goes around with more typical civilian attire, such as a white shirt, green tie, red skirt and knee-high leather boots. She still retains her sword and kiteshield for self-defense.

Personality

Due to Duvalie's personality quirks, she is very easy to irritate, intentional or not. In part due to her young age, she also dislikes being treated like a child often react in annoyance when she felt insulted or when other doesn't take things seriously.

As a knight, she is extremely devoted to her lord, has a strong sense of justice, and takes pride in her skills. She does not like incompetent fighters, considering Gilbert Stein to be a disgrace and disturbed at the fact he works in the same organization as her.

Duvalie is shown to have an interest in Erebonia's two top swordsmanship schools, Arseid and Vander. She is shown to be interested in and respect particularly powerful individuals, such as Victor S. Arseid, Cassius Bright and Arios MacLaine. Throughout the course of the Cold Steel series, she also develops a rivalry with Victor's daughter, Laura S. Arseid.

• Duvalie and Crow Armbrust are distinguished as the characters who are fought against at least once in the most games, with five. She is faced as a boss in 영웅전설 벽의 궤적, each of the last three Cold Steel games and 영웅전설 시작의 궤적, while Crow is faced as a boss in every Cold Steel game and 영웅전설 시작의 궤적.
• Fought a total of 10 times, Duvalie is tied with McBurn as being the most fought boss in the series.
  • She is faced once in 영웅전설 벽의 궤적 at Stargazer's Tower.
  • She is faced four times in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 II: first at Bareahard with McBurn, then with Bleublanc aboard the Pantagruel, then at Helmut Albarea's fortress, then with Bleublanc at the Infernal Castle.
  • She is faced three times in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 III: first at Hamel with Shirley Orlando, then with her fellow Stahlritter in the Bryonia Island shrine, then with Arianrhod and her fellow Stahlritter atop Juno.
  • She is faced once in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV: alongside Crow in the Bryonia Island shrine.
