케이트

Kate (ケイト) is a police officer, and later captain, of the Crossbell Police Department in Crossbell City.

Profile

Appearance

Kate is a young woman with green eyes and cropped medium-length brown hair. She is always seen wearing the uniform of the police department, which is blue and green with a skirt and blazer, along with a blue cap. Later, after the police department is combined with Erebonia's military police, she adopts their blue uniform.

Personality

Kate keeps a look out for her acquaintances and cares for the future of her home in Crossbell. She is unafraid to takes risk if it means protecting this, even if she has to defy 'official orders'. She mentions the job in the police can be hard at times, but is determined to show her best to the civilians and persevere. She considers herself a bad driver.

Kate oversees much of the city's traffic every day. She helps direct the traffic, find illegal parked cars and tows away cars. She asks the Special Support Section to help with traffic control and find cars that are parked illegally around the city. She is later in charge of helping to escort people to St. Ursula Medical College as the second division are questioning some members of Heiyue.

Kate continues her traffic duties as part of the metropolitan division in 영웅전설 벽의 궤적. She leads the escorts of various dignitaries at the West Zemuria Trade Conference. She asks the SSS for support in tracking down the Highbloods, a group of Calvardian youths who are driving recklessly around the city. She later arrests the three youths and gives them astern warning about safety and endangering the lives of citizens, and their own selves.

She thinks the declaration of independence has led to fewer cars with international licensee plates. Kate is resolved to protect the citizens after the declaration and annexation by the Empire.

영웅전설 섬의 궤적 III and IV

Kate meets the new Class VII under Instructor Rean Schwarzer and is surprised to see former police trainee Juna Crawford amongst the class. She introduces herself as part of the city's military police security division. She enlist the classes help to prepare paperwork for the general inspection that is upcoming, specifically checking the customer numbers and sales of various retailers in the city. There are three shop fronts she asks them to conduct a questionnaire with. Kate is instructed not to tell the civilians anything, and increase patrols around the city. She asks after Juna after being worried about her following the events atop Orchis Tower.

After the Great Twilight, Class VII espy Kate patrolling around the city. After overhearing her talking with her colleague Franz about being on the lookout for suspicious elements, asking Juna is she knows anything about the branch campus being wanted criminals. They assume the worst that Kate has succumbed to the Erebonian Curse. This fear eventually proves to be unfounded as it is revealed Kate was putting on act act and secretly supporting the resistance in Crossbell. She comes to the aid of Rean's party infiltrating the Orchis Tower, keeping the Imperial Defense Force busy. She later helps organise a distraction on the ground in the efforts to help Operation Shining Steel.

영웅전설 시작의 궤적

Kate helps expel the Imperial Defense Force and Rufus' personal guard from the city, and witnesses Supreme Leader Rufus Albarea take over the city. She then joins the resistance efforts and helps in the operation to relieve Sonya Baelz at the Moon Temple. Kate explains Sonya took charge after the police were in disarray following the takeover and therefore it is imperative Sonya doesn't fall. She helps keep the Guard busy while the SSS and their allies proceed to the temple.

Kate also helps retake the city, and during the emergence of Retributive Tower, she and the police go around the city calming the citizens and explaining the situation, keeping order.
