Angelica Rogner (アンゼリカ・ログナー) is introduced as the daughter of Marquis Gerhart Rogner, a student at Thors Military Academy's Class I, and a member of the ARCUS test team alongside Crow Armbrust, George Nome, and Towa Herschel.

The daughter of the "Marquis Rogner" family, one of the Four Great Houses that governs the northern state of Nortia. She is a free-spirited beauty who doesn't wear a uniform and rides around on her "Orbal Bike" in a rider suit. After bikes, she seems to love girls more than anything else, and it is rumored that she has several lovers both inside and outside the academy. She appears to have trained in eastern martial arts, and is quite skilled at it. She is also good friends with the student council president, Towa, and supports Rean and the others as a good senior.

A second-year student at Thors Military Academy and a skilled Taito practitioner. Angelica is at times distracted by her love of beautiful young maidens, but in a desperate situation, there's no better friend one can count on. Her rebellious nature combined with her unwavering bravery makes for a woman who would fight for her beliefs until she could fight no more-and with her constantly at odds with her father, leader of one of the Four Great Houses, she may have to do just that.

The only daughter of House Rogner—one of the Four Great Houses—and a practitioner of the Eastern martial art, Taito. Despite her noble upbringing, she's known for being wild, free-spirited, and a shameless womanizer. During her time at Thors, she was close friends with Towa, George, and Crow, and she helped out Class VII as their upperclassman. When the civil war broke out, she continued helping Towa in her duties as acting captain of the Courageous. Immediately after the war, she took her bike and left on a trip across the continent to see the state of Zemuria with her own eyes. During her trip, she began to sense that something wasn't right and tried to contact her former Taito master in Calvard. However...

Appearance

Angelica is a young woman with short violet hair and turquoise eyes. In accordance to her rebellious character, Angelica always stands out, wearing full black leather clothing instead of the regular Thors white uniform for nobles.

After her graduation before 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 III, she extended her hair into a ponytail with a large white belt and black thigh boots. Her appearance appears to be a mixed blend of formal and informal fashion where she wears a pink shirt and navy scarf over her biker's outfit.

Personality

Angelica is openly affectionate towards women and often shocks classmates with her forwardness, never missing a chance to make passes at attractive young women.

Despite her rakish demeanor, Angelica is a steadfast friend to Class VII, always being there when she is needed. A thoroughbred aristocrat by birth, Angelica stands as a noble in both character and position, but she is also quite headstrong and firm about expressing herself on her terms. This attitude causes her father Marquis Rogner a great amount of irritation; whether it be her flirty attitude or her choice of attire, everything Angelica does seems to directly oppose the image of a proper noble.

Despite her father becoming one of the Noble Alliance's supporters during the October War, she still respects him for adhering to the code that he taught her: "a true Erebonian noble must always stand on their own two feet". These words motivate her to pursue her on path in life as much as, if not more than, her own free spirit.

Background

She was born in the Nortia Province of Erebonia in S.1185. She is the daughter of Marquis Gerhart Rogner, leader of one of the Four Great Houses of Erebonia. In S.1197, she traveled with Kilika Rouran, who taught her Taito.

Angelica worked in the Sachsen Iron Mine near Roer before coming to Thors. She had disguised himself as a young man and worked harder compared to the other miners, which made her well respected by her fellow miners, and they were surprised when they found out about her true identity. There, she developed a close friendship with George Nome, and the two of them would later enroll in Thors together.

Trivia

• Angelica is the only character playable in the first Cold Steel game, as well as the only character playable in all 4 of the Cold Steel games and Trails into Reverie, who is not a Class VII member.
• In Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, Rossweisse is a valkyrie and the daughter of Wotan, represented by a mezzo-soprana. Black Alberich and Azure Siegfried are also names from Wagner's music drama. (Wikipedia).
• Despite being called Red Rossweisse, she does not wear red as a Gnome. Only her mask is red.
• The alias used by Angelica while undercover as a sister of Roer Cathedral in Trails of Cold Steel II, Sister Quelle, could be a reference to the alias used by Julia Schwarz while she was undercover as a sister of Grancel Cathedral in Trails in the Sky FC.
