Sandy is born in S.1189 in Alster, Erebonia. As the daughter of two parents, Gilda and Lanson, who love to cook and run their own inn, Sandy grew up surrounded by food.
During the Erebonian Civil War, Class VII visits to Sandy's hometown,[1] for which she is very grateful for. She also adores Prince Olivert Reise Arnor, who was born and raised in the same town as she was.
The risotto of Olivert's mother, Ariel Lenheim, is one of the many recipes Sandy shared with her parents. Her best known meal is the 'Lenheim Risotto,' which is still served in her parents' inn.
After enrolling at Thors Branch Campus, Sandy joined Class IX under Instructor Towa Herschel. Her roommates in the dormitory are Valerie and Tatiana. The courses she excels at in the academy are cooking class and dietetics.[2] Sandy joined the Cooking Club. She uses the vegetable garden at the campus grounds to grow her own vegetables and fruit to use in recipes and also runs the cafeteria in the Derfflinger during field trips.
Rean Schwarzer first meets Sandy when he delivers her some seeds to start the garden for the club. She later asks him for help in locating the rare ingredient for the Lenheim Risotto, Moon truffles. After Rean does so, they get to try the fantastic dish and Sandy explains its origins.
After the Great Twilight, Sandy heads north to gather information in Lamare. She notices the effect the Erebonian Curse is having on the people of Alster. She directs Class VII to Kai who has seen black Pleroma Grass.
Later, Sandy requests the assistance of Rean to bring back the harvest festival to lift the spirits of the people of Alster. She enlists him to find three ingredients and the festival is pulled off successfully with a surprise visit from Olivert, Schera and Mueller.
Sandy is still a student of the Branch Campus and continues to cook and serve food at the Academy Festival. She offers Tita advice about how to proceed with her Orbal Gear project, and also cautions Freddy about his choice for the Imperial Wedding food judging, warning him to take into account everyone's tastes. Sandy herself prepares a Lenheim Risotto which gets high approval from the judging panel.
A student whose cooking prowess originated from her family-run tavern in a remote part of Erebonia. Her second cousin is Prince Olivert.
Lenheim Risotto Sandy presents a risotto dish that's all-too familiar to Prince Olivert for the panel, and its warm, nostalgic flavor more than pleases the reviewers.
