A girl with long, golden hair that reaches to the ground. She has a strangely old-fashioned way about her. She seems to know about Rean and will suddenly appear before him, leave mysterious words of advice, and then disappear. Her golden hair and bright red eyes bear a strong resemblance to a vampiric character named Rose from the popular novel, "Red Moon Rose," a fictionalized account of an incident that took place in Heimdallr 200 years ago...

She may have the appearance of a young girl, but her true age is somewhere over 800 years old. Though the three are not blood related, Roselia is a grandmother to both Emma and Vita, as well as their master in the magical arts. As new Class VII went about performing their field exercises, Roselia appeared before Rean a number of times, leaving cryptic messages for the Ashen Awakener. During the crisis in Heimdallr, she joined forces with Thomas Lysander of the Gralsritter to aid Class VII in trying to prevent the curse.

The Elder of the Hexen Clan who is over 800 years old, Celine's creator, and a grandmother figure to Emma and Vita. Her true nature is akin to a Holy Beast under the Goddess Aidios, much like the Divine Wolf Zeit who watches over Crossbell. Despite her lofty positions, however, she loves modern culture, junk food, and living in a manner quite unbecoming of her--which has earned her numerous scoldings from Emma. When the Great Twilight ended, she confirmed that the anomalies in the spirit veins across the continent had been resolved. This marked the end of her work as elder of the Hexen Clan...or did it?

Appearance

Roselia appears as a young girl with blonde hair long enough to touch the floor, deep crimson eyes and an archaic way of speaking. Roselia wears a long sleeved white shirt with a red laced corset, long red skirt comprised of several layers and brown knee-high laced boots. At times, Roselia can shift into her true adult form, which grants her additional height, and her clothing adapts slightly, with detached sleeves.

She carries her personal staff with has a large crystal on the end, glowing red when in her possession. She can float upon this staff, in which case, it resembles a broomstick.

Personality

Roselia is secretive and cryptic by nature, and often withholds information. She has a slight mischievous streak and irresponsible nature, and can get into clashes of personality with other opinionated individuals, such as Wilhelm Ballad. Nevertheless, she has a long history of wise counsel while helping to guide others in the sense of her longstanding duty as Elder.

Development

Roselia was revealed as someone who appears before Rean Schwarzer on numerous occasions, but his companions are unable to perceive her existence. She is not a normal human being, and her powers are unlike any that have appeared so far. Her relation with Azure Siegfried and Rutger Claussell is unknown, but what the three have in common is that they should not exist.

Trivia

• Roselia's staff is, apart from coloring, identical to the staff used by Vita Clotilde until the end of the Erebonian Civil War. It glows red while in her possession, and when she passes it on to Emma, it becomes purple.
