Wald Wales (ヴァルド・ヴァレス) is introduced as the owner of the clubhouse Ignis in the Downtown District of Crossbell City and leader of the delinquent youth gang known as Saber Vipers.

Introduction

A well-built man who leads a gang of delinquents who like to fight. Such a rowdy group could only be kept in line by someone especially strong and fierce, and Wald most certainly fits the bill. Though he sometimes lets his enthusiasm for battle get the better of him, he's actually surprisingly good at taking care of others and all the younger members of his gang respect him greatly. His weapon of choice is a wooden sword wrapped in a chain, and he swings it with such force that it can break through an iron door.

The leader of the Saber Vipers, a gang of delinquents that pride themselves as street brawlers. His ferocity and might have rallied many members under his command. In Trails from Zero, he worked with Lloyd and the team to stop the mafia, but has since become deeply resentful of his rival, Wazy, joining the police force.

영웅전설 시작의 궤적

A heroic knight of the Septian Church who serves as Wazy's squire. He was once the head of a violent gang of punks known as the Saber Vipers. However, his demeanor was changed after his demonization by the drug Gnosis and his subsequent treatment in the Holy City of Arteria. Though much was working against him, he was able to pull through his treatment and studies at the church until he was accepted as a squire. He may have a much calmer disposition compared to before, but he hasn't completely forgotten the conflict-hungry spirit he had in his gangster days, and he still very much sees Wazy as a rival.

Appearance

Wald is a large muscular young man with brown hair (although the tip is styled and colored blonde) and brown eyes. He wears a small red sleeveless jacket which exposes most of his muscular physique and loosely fitting red pants covered with black belts and chains. There is a red choker around his neck and he wears studded wristbands.

As a knight, Wald wears a long red and black coat with white along all seams, a black waistcoat with a white edge, white shoes, brown trousers with white stripes and glasses. The medallion of the Gralsritter hangs from his neck.

Wald uses a wooden sword in combat. Previosuly this was wrapped in a chain., but his new version is plain wooden with the Septian Church insignia carved into it.

Personality

Wald is introduced as a muscular, impetuous martial artist, forceful in both appearance and personality. He is fiercely aggressive and loves to pick fights, but at the same time is an inspirational figure for his gang. he is passionate about his rivalry with Wazy and sunk into a depressed state when the former left their lifestyle. He is devoted to studying but will not stand for anyone who belittles him.
