골렘

Golems (ゴーレム) are autonomous constructs formed from Alchemy, introduced in 영웅전설 제로의 궤적.

Background

Dating back to the Middle Ages, golems are typically large humanoid figures created through the art of alchemy. They were and continue to be used by the Crois Family in the Crossbell region and they remain the predominant users, having developed many modern versions which are deployed alongside more archaic constructs. Golems are stated to not run on orbments, differentiating them from other artificial constructs such as Archaisms. Golems are often always found in areas of high spiritual energy or where the higher elements are active.

Golems are generally found in locations connected to the alchemists, primarily the Stargazer's Tower and the Orchis Tower Thaumaturgical sector.

Other countries such as Erebonia have their own versions. This includes the colossal Magic Knights created by Middle Ages mages of Erebonia to counter the Divine Knights after they had been given the knowledge by Black Alberich of the Gnomes. Alberich himself is noted to have stolen research and technology from the Crois alchemists in the past.
