알베르

Albert (アルベール) is a character first seen in 영웅전설 시작의 궤적 and properly introduced in 영웅전설 여의 궤적.

Appearance

Albert is a teenage boy with reddish-brown hair and bright blue eyes. He wears the standard male uniform for students of Aramis High School, consisting of a white shirt, chequered red neck-tie, sea-green blazer and black Tartan trousers. He also wears smart brown shoes with a metal clasp.

Personality

Albert is a well-mannered young man who is also very good at his studies and sports. He secretly admires Agnes Claudel and sometimes spends time with her. He tends to become hostile around Van Arkride. His peers regard him as an 'open book' when it comes to his romantic interests and he becomes very flustered when such topics are raised.

Background

Albert is a first-year student of the prestigious Aramis High School and serves as the accountant of the student council. He has been friends with Agnés since the later years of Sunday School.

Albert was first seen alongside the student council in 영웅전설 시작의 궤적 when Renne Bright became the student council president for Aramis. He is one of the small number of Agnes' peers who know her true identity. Albert works part time in a bookstore in Edith.

영웅전설 여의 궤적

Albert makes his debut when travelling in Edith with Odette and Renne when they spot Agnes Claudel working as part of the Arkride Solutions Office. Albert had no idea this was going on and is both surprised and suspicious. He eagerly requests Renne tell him more about Agnes' work.

After returning from Langport, Albert confronts Van directly and demands he stop 'trying to trick Agnes'. He professes that he has heard all sorts of rumors about Van and claims he picks up girls and forces them to work for him. Van surmises that Albert is worried about her and Albert is prevented from revealing to much about Agnes' father. Renne appears and defuses the situation, reminding Albert that he has budget reports to complete.

Van catches Albert at a nighttime showing of the R17 version of Golden Blood. He begs Odette not to tell Agnes he was there. Albert is also brought in when student Curtis is being investigated during a case.

Albert accompanies the group of Aramis students that go to Basel for an observational study. He vehemently denies that Agnes and Van have any relationship. Albert refuses to accept Van's business as legitimate but swears to look after Agnes whilst in Basel. He continues to state his loyalty to Agnes as he is encountered in the city. When the city is attacked by archaisms, Albert helps evacuate the civilians to safety.

When Albert and Odette receive a message stating Agnes will be absent for three days, they rush to buy a taxi to meet with her and talk her out of whatever dangerous motive she has. They are eventually convinced when Agnes' own father gives approval and states that they will support her and will come running at the first sign that she is in trouble.

In the finale, Albert spends part of his time with his male student peers but states he has council work to do. He is surprised to learn that Van was himself a former Aramis student and is embarrassed that he had liked what he had not known to be Van's work on the performance seven years ago. When Pandemonium takes hold, Albert tries to help Agnes but is injured in the process, with Odette looking after him thereon. He later helps to get the orbal network back up and running.
