Julia Schwarz (ユリア・シュバルツ) is a First Lieutenant in the Royal Army of Liberl. She is later promoted to the rank of Captain.

A young female officer who serves as a First Lieutenant in the Royal Guard. She was promoted to Captain for her achievements during the coup d'état, and currently spends her days conducting test flights and exercises for the Arseille's new orbal engine. Since her Military Academy days she has been rivals with former Intelligence Division Captain Kanone Amalthea, who is currently missing.

A senior captain of the Royal Army of Liberl. She is also the head of the Royal Guard and captain of the Arseille. After coming to Crossbell as Princess Klaudia's bodyguard, she becomes acquainted with Lloyd and the SSS. She has many female fans across the continent due to her gallant and elegant demeanor.

Appearance

Julia is a woman with bright blue eyes and short green hair. She wears the uniform of the Liberl Royal Guard, consisting of an indigo/royal blue long coat with a short golden hemmed cape, a white surcoat with a golden emblem in the center, puce leggings and indigo boots with leather wrap-around straps. She wears a blue beret with a white feather at the side.She has large spherical ear piercings.

Julia is armed with a slim, ornate rapier with a golden hilt, guard and ruby in the pommel.

Personality

Julia Schwarz is a devoted and trustworthy person to both her friends and to her country. She will go to any lengths to protect the Royal Family. She takes her occupation as both bodyguard and personal tutor with a serious manner, but with caring warmth.

• Schwarz is a German surname meaning "black". In addition, her craft Lanzenreiter is also a German word for a horse-mounted lancer.
• Her Japanese voice actresses, Yuka Komatsu and Eriko Matsui, were both born on Wednesday, March 8th.
