The Quincy Company (クインシー社) is an internationally successful maker of confectionery, based in Oración, Calvard.
Background
The Quincy Company are a brand of confectionery makers that are well-known and popular across Zemuria. Their brand of chocolate, Quincy Bell, is regarded as the best there is, balancing cost and taste. However in recent times they are associated with luxury. Van Arkride, a sweets connoisseur regards them as having a low cost:performance ratio. The headquarters is located in Oración in Calvard, where the CEO Edmond Auclair is based. There are Quincy stores in Oración and Edith where they have a department store as well.
A brochure for their company states:
“As a leading company in the confectionery industry,the Quincy Company is tirelessly innovating the world of confectioneries. This brochure aims to provide a brief introduction to our passion and hard work.
We believe the foremost aspect of any confectionery is its taste. For if a treat isn't tasty, why would anyone enjoy it? On this principle, the Quincy Company refuses to compromise on the quality of our products.
Our factories are equipped with the latest equipment,and naturally, we pay the utmost attention to hygiene. At the Quincy Company, we are particular about the quality of our ingredients and where they are sourced. Our standards for product development are also strict.
The executives sample development products and, after many planning meetings, judge whether they are worthy of being brought to market. Only then will they go to the production line. This has been a tradition of the Quincy Company since its founding, so that we may deliver our customers only the best confectioneries to enjoy.

A con man Minneth claims to be working for a subsidiary of the Quincy Company, the Armorican Honey Company in order to swindle the residents of Armorica Village out of their land, so he can build a factory. However, the Special Support Section discover that Quincy Company executives personally taste-test products under development, ruining Minneth's cover story as he admitted disliking sweets when the SSS first met him. As a result of Minneth's oversight, his scheme is foiled and he is arrested.

The genuine company appears, based in Calvard. The CEO, Edmond Auclair is deeply against immigration and illegaly channelled slush funds to anti-immigration terrorist groups and backs terrorist organisations such as Almata. His daughter, Elaine Auclair suspected wrong doing and distanced herself from the company. When she obtained the proof she needed, she led an an arrest on her father. He was removed as the CEO, but his role in funding Almata, and his resulting indirect role in the bombing of Creil, caused a PR disaster for the company.
