Private Egel is a soldier serving in the Royal Army.
He's stationed at Krone Pass checkpoint separating the cities Bose and Ruan.
When Estelle and Joshua arrive at Krone Pass after the arrest of the sky bandits and the rescue of the hostages, it's already getting late and they're advised against travelling further and to spend the night at the checkpoint instead. Deciding to take his advice, Estelle and Joshua spend the night in the sleeping quarters.
That night, the checkpoint gets attacked by a pack of wolf-like monsters and Egel helps defend the gate. Fortunately, he and his colleagues are well-trained and are able to fend off the attack without anyone suffering major injuries although that's partially due to Estelle, Joshua and Agate noticing and intercepting a second attack from the other side.

Private Egel is a collegue of Private Usher, Private Cutinger and Private Mikey
He's also a subordinate of Chief Watch Officer Zelste and Watch Officer Serose
