Watch Officer Serose is a soldier serving in the Royal Army.
He's stationed at Krone Pass checkpoint separating the cities Bose and Ruan and can be found behind the desk inside the checkpoint's main hall, meaning he's the one who usually handles the paperwork for people travelling from one region to another.
When Estelle and Joshua arrive at Krone Pass after the arrest of the Capua Sky Bandits and the rescue of the hostages, it's already getting late and they decide to spend the night at the checkpoint. During the evening, it's Serose who brings them dinner and has some small talk with them, causing Estelle to note that there are quite a few nice people in the army despite the tensions between the army and the Bracer Guild at the top. Serose loves to cook and often gets permission to prepare the meals, suggesting his cooking skills are above average. It's because of this that he isn't a big fan of Private Usher's much less stellar cooking and warns the bracers that it requires a strong stomach to tolerate.
Later that night, the checkpoint is attacked by a pack of wolf-like monsters. While Estelle and Joshua quickly prepare to join the fray, Agate tells them the soldiers at the checkpoint are well-trained and that additional people would just get in the way. Serose, while fighting off one of the creatures, is quick to agree with Agate although the bracers still get their chance to help out when a second pack attacks the checkpoint from the other side.
The morning after, Serose thanks Estelle and Joshua for their assistence and mentions that there's some monetary compensation waiting for them at the Ruan branch. He also notes that it seems really strange that the attack was so well-coordinated while monsters usually avoid the checkpoint due to the orbal lights and have never attacked in large packs before. In the end, he ends up dismissing the matter though.

Watch Officer Serose is the superior of Private Cutinger, Private Egel and Private Mikey, Private Usher.
He's also the subordinate of Chief Watch Officer Zelste.
