Dreknor Fortress (ドレックノール要塞) is a large military base in the Sutherland Province, Erebonia. Its size is on par with the Garrelia Fortress on the eastern border with Crossbell.[1]
Background
The principal duty of the Dreknor Fortress is the maintenance of public order in the southern half of Erebonia.[1] During the Orbal Shutdown Phenomenon of S.1203, the then-stationed 3rd Armored Division of Zechs Vander were tasked with providing shelters to the inhabitants of the southern town of Parm and marched on toward the Titus Gate on the border with Liberl.
After disobeying the Imperial government's order to invade Liberl, they were relocated to the Zender Gate in northeast Erebonia.[Note 1] During the October War, Dreknor Fortress was surrounded, but not taken by the Noble Alliance. With the Imperial Army locked down inside, the fighting in Sutherland was limited to the fortress, sparing the rest of the province.

Background
Following the war, in the fall of S.1205, the 4th Armored Division transferred to the Dreknor Fortress, with the newly promoted General Olaf Craig as its commander.[Note 2] The Goliaths used by Vulcan and the Noble Alliance are also stored here.
Despite the Ouroboros attack on the Thors Branch Campus field exercise camp, the Imperial government refuses to allow the Imperial Army to help, and orders the branch campus to investigate and stop Ouroboros on their own. Nevertheless, Rean Schwarzer, Elliot Craig, Laura S. Arseid and Fie Claussell head to Dreknor Fortress and meet with their old instructor Neithardt and General Craig. Rean deduces the reason for both armies' inactivity against Ouroboros is related to their location, after which General Craig gives them permission to go to Hamel and tells them to ask Marquis Hyarms' permission.

Background
After finding from Marquis Ballad that Tita Russell and Alfin Reise Arnor were held in the fortress instead of the Marquis' Mansion in Saint-Arkh, Class VII and Agate Crosner prepared a plan to infiltrate the fortress in the same way he did with Leiston Fortress, including using Celine Millstein as a decoy. Once inside, they defeat the soldiers of the 4th Armored Division, including Alan, and head to the command room where they confront General Craig and Lt. Col. Neithardt. After defeating them, the general allows them to take Tita and Alfin before the Imperial Defense Force arrives.
On September 1, Zechs Vander visits the fortress to discuss their deployment plans, with his 3rd Armored Division leaving Juno Naval Fortress for North Ambria and the 4th leaving the fortress towards Liberl.
