골리앗

Goliath (ゴリアス) is a giant humanoid Panzer Soldat weapon developed by the 5th Division of Reinford Group and introduced during the Erebonian Civil War.

Background

The Goliath is twice the size of regular Panzer Soldats and weighs eight times as much. Its head is about the same size as other Soldats, but slightly elongated with a hawk-like emerald visor. The shoulders have two protruding discs, and while the torso is similar to other Soldat units, it has larger arms with wrist compartments. Its lower region is split into four leg compartments with feet platforms connecting to a large cylinder base that have flight engines beneath it. The legs are shown with two in the front & two in the back for balancing such a large body. Attached is a black gatling machine gun cannon on the right shoulder & two missile launcher on the left shoulder.

From its sheer size, even a single punch can damage a Drakkhen easily. It has the ability for distant air travel beneath the legs and the center base. Mounted on the right shoulder is either a gatling machine gun cannon. It holds monstrous strength and can attempt to crush targets in Soldat units or Divine Knights with just bare hands.

A Massive-size Soldat like the Goliath consumes a larger amount of power, most likely because supporting a frame so huge would put a massive strain on the Orbal engine. This can lead to overheating and later, combustion. If the engine blows up, it would take the whole Soldat with it.

It was later succeeded by the Goliath Noa (ゴリアス・ノア) sometime after the civil war, with the Imperial Army having about 10 units. One unit was tested by Altina Orion at Thors Branch Campus, whilst another was used by Lieutenant General Olaf Craig. The Noa is said to be the most unusual of the 5 standard Soldat types and the last to be developed. When the 'successor' units: the Zauber Soldats were introduced, the Noa is the only one that doesn't see active deployment, although its frame was used as the basis for the Asmodine and Leviathan units.

The Panzer Soldat Almanac (1206) states:

This special unit, also called the Giant, boasts overwhelming output and defensive capabilities. It can devastate the battlefield with hand-to-hand combat using its giant arms and long distance attacks from the shoulder-mounted blaster cannon. Speed, mobility, and operability are sticking points, but the vernier makes short range movement possible, too. The cost of a single unit is nearly 20 times that of a Drakkhen, so few are produced.

	Name	Description
	Rapid fire	The shoulder gatling machine gun will fire off an onslaught of bullet shots to deliver some hefty damage.
	Imperial Press	Goliath will reach out its right hand to grasp the target by their gut, then used the left hand to grip them in a lock. And then put in the pressure squeeze that causes some serious medium range of damage before dropping the target.
	Destruction Flame	Using the Goliath’s left & right wrist to unleash a jet of flames from the left motion & then the right motion, but then the gatling gun cannon charges up to fire a massive crimson beam ray delivering a large surge of serious damage.
	Cluster Cannon	Charges the cannon in a bright orange color before firing a blast shot to impact the target.
