제노

제노 (Xeno, ゼノ), also known as the Trap Master (罠使い(トラップマスター)), is a regimental commander of Zephyr. He is usually seen with his companion 레오니다스. During battles he wields a blade rifle.

Profile

제노 is a tall veteran jaeger who speaks in a distinct dialect. His expertise is in wielding a huge Blade Rifle for accurate close and long range combat while strategising orbal mine formations which garnered him a reputation as the "Trap Master."

제노's weapon is an 'S' weapon developed by the Black Workshop. It boasts an exaggerated size, including parts reminiscent of a sniper rifle and large single-edged blade.

Appearance

제노 is a skinny built man, with tan yellow-emerald hair and a wolf's tail style ponytail. He also wears violet spec glasses over his violet color eyes. 제노 typically wears the Zephyr uniform: a dark grey-violet coat with sleeves rolled up to the elbows; with silver lining designs, an emerald turtle-neck shirt underneath, tan bare baggy pants, dark black boots and hand to wrist cover fingerless black gloves with straps.

Personality

Personality-wise, he portrays himself as an easygoing individual, frequently making small jokes. Despite his optimistic outlook and friendly exterior, he retains the typical aspects of being a jaeger, becoming serious when a job needs to be completed. It is clear that he has a caring side for his comrades, especially Fie, who looks out for her: even to the point of taking the role of an over-protective father-figure (which he shares with 레오니다스) when chatting with Rean about the pair's working relationship and how close they are, enquiring about anything that might give him cause for concern.

Background

In S.1196, 제노 worked as an assassin who was sent to assassinate 루트거 클라우젤. He not only failed his mission, but was instead invited for a drink with his target. 제노's former organisation started targetting him instead, but Rutger stepped in and completely destroyed said organisation. 제노 joined Zephyr, which he saw as the family he had been looking for.

영웅전설 섬의 궤적 II

Although first shown in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적, 제노 is formally introduced alongside his companion 레오니다스 in 제1부 "잿빛 전기". Serving the Noble Alliance during the Erebonian Civil War, they fight with Class VII at the ruins of Garrelia Fortress and soon thereafter in Ymir. After the 막간 "백은의 거선", 제노 and 레오니다스 continue their work in western Erebonia until they're called back by Cayenne on December 30 to defend the second stratum of the Infernal Castle, where they faced off against 피 클라우젤 and the rest of Class VII once more. They revealed to Fie that other Zephyr members had split up on Rutger's orders and that they were working on bringing him back from the grave.

Following Rutger's revival, their work throughout Erebonia leads them to several counters with Class VII, revealing that they only cooperated with the Noble Alliance at the request of their "true employer", the Gnomes, in order to gather intelligence. He continues to work with 레오니다스, this time as members of Zephyr, to help Alberich and 길리아스 오스본 spur on the Great Twilight. After preparing the stage for the Rivalry between Rutger and Rean Schwarzer by fighting Class VII, he and 레오니다스 side with them for the infiltration of the Salt Pales.

영웅전설 시작의 궤적

At an unspecified time, 제노 acquires a new experiential mine that detonates upon exposure to magical power instead of physical power- a 'magic mine' from Neinvalli, where he trades it for a rare out-of-production golden 밋시 statue. He states he acquired the statue as payment from a previous contract with Chairman Hartmann to escort him in his exile. Whilst shopping for ammunition, he explains that he and 레오니다스 had been all over Western Zemuria, rebuilding Zephyr following the events of the rivalries.

제노, alongside 레오니다스 would rejoin their former comrade 가르시아 로시 in the forces deployed by 비타 클로틸드 against the Retributive Tower.

Trivia

• 제노 and 레오니다스 are always together whenever they appear on-screen. The one exception to this is when they are fought against individually in Zephyr's Spirit Shrine.
