Zauber Soldats (
Background
영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV
Co-developed by the Black Workshop and the Reinford Group, the Zauber Soldats are humanoid weapons combining elements from regular Soldats and Magic Knights and were completed around July, S.1206. They are primarily used by Erebonia's Imperial Defense Force. They are the successors of Panzer Soldats, having replaced them in the Thors Military Academy curriculum upon introduction.
The first Zauber Soldat encountered in-game are two Sorge units when New Class VII head into Mishelam's swamps to locate an Occult Point in the area. A Melgea is later encountered in Ordis. When Class VII retakes the Thors Branch Campus from the main academy, they also run into their first Mordred and Hannibal unit.
A Leviathan unit is deployed on a Gargantua by Black Alberich after George and Sharon are defeated. The Leviathan is ultimately destroyed when it goes out of control and tries to strike Irina Reinford and Gerhard Schmidt.
By using mana, the Zauber Soldats are capable of using magical powers. Zauber Soldats can be fully automated, but this has seen very little use.[1]. Instead, skilled pilots are able to "linking" to nearby idle units, allowing them to control additional units from their own. Piloting a Zauber Soldat causes mental deterioration over time, making them more susceptible to the Erebonian Curse.
영웅전설 시작의 궤적
The remnants of the Imperial Defense Force, Rufus's personal guard, deploy numerous Sorge units when Crossbell's authorities besiege the city in order to remove the illegal occupation. When the Special Support Section confronts the leaders at the top of Orchis Tower, they deploy an Asmodyne unit, which they defeat and result in the remnants surrendering.
Through the out-of-control Elysium singularity, a new type of Zauber Soldat, the Helmord, are manufactured and deployed when a simulacrum of Rufus Albarea and the Ebon Defense Force reoccupy Crossbell. It also proceeds to make an enhanced version of the Asmodyne, the Asmodyne Menance, which is deployed when Crossbell is besieged once again by its authorities. Both models, fully automated, are deployed during the defence of the Retributive Tower.
