린의 귀환 is part of the story that occurs during the 단막 "부러진 검, 그리고──" in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV.

공략

1. Team C: Win the battle.
2. Team A: Head north and take the west path at the fork, then continue north for a battle.
3. Team B: Head into the east room and cross the duct, then continue north and take the west path at the fork for a battle.
4. Team C: Head north, take the east path and follow the path all the way north for a battle.
   • PARTY: Crow and Duvalie join Team C before the battle.
5. Team A: Head to Map A2, head north either way and continue to the locked door.
6. Team A: Head west either way, cross the duct and examine the terminal, then continue though the locked door for a battle.
7. Team B: Head to Map B2 and follow the path to the locked door.
8. Team B: Head north, cross the west duct and examine the terminal, then continue though the locked door for a battle.
9. Team C: Head to Map C2 and follow the path to the end for a battle.
   • NOTE: After all teams are in position for the battle, there will be another two battles with New Class VII after the three.
   • BONUS: Reducing Osborne or Arianrhod's HP to 50% earns 5 AP; reducing both HP to 50% at the same time earns 10 AP.

요약

The village witches used the Spirit Path to teleport Class VII into the Workshop. Deep underground, where no light could reach, they made their way to where Rean was being held. Class VII split into two teams in order to search the Workshop more efficiently. In the meantime, Rean had finally broken through his chains and was wandering through the Workshop on his own, as Celine chased after him. While Class VII encountered Red Rossweisse and Copper Georg, Rean and Celine were joined by Crow and a defecting Duvalie against McBurn, Ines, and Ennea.
The members of old Class VII managed to hold them off as new Class VII ran past to find Rean, who left the others behind in order to reclaim Valimar and the Sword of the End. When new Class VII finally found Rean at last, it seemed that Rean, his mind addled by the curse, was unable to hear them.
After a battle against their beloved instructor, however, the thoughts of all his friends, including Millium and Valimar, managed to reach him through the ARCUS II, and he recovered his senses.
Old Class VII, along with Crow and Duvalie, caught up to new Class VII and Rean, but so did their foes. Seemingly out of nowhere, Chancellor Osborne, Black Alberich, and Arianrhod the Steel Maiden appeared as well. It looked as if there was no escape, but at Rean's signal, Emma and Gaius opened up a portal.
Josette arrived in her Bobcat II, together with the Gralsritter's Merkabah Unit 8. Many of Rean's acquaintances--Vita, Aurelia, Randy, and Agate--provided support, allowing Rean and his friends to escape. They were finally able to piece together Osborne's intentions. Just as they were about to leave, Musse offered Osborne the name of her operation, Mille Mirage, which aimed to counter Osborne's ambitions.
They fled the Workshop before enemy reinforcements could stop them, and they flew off just as the new day dawned.
