Wenzel's story.
Background
Wenzel was born and raised in Erebonia.
He originally worked as a bracer in the Imperial branches until he moved to Crossbell and continued his duties as a bracer there. After the Assault on the Imperial Guilds in S.1202, he was called back to Erebonia in order to participate in the Cassius Bright led operation to locate the offenders.
Wenzel is specialised in the orthodox school of swordsmanship, making him a great team with rifle wielding bracer Scott. For larger missions, the two of them team up with Lynn and Aeolia.
He previously worked with Sara Valestein and Toval Randonneur.

Wenzel is working at the Crossbell Branch where he is on standby. He works closely with his partner Scott. He asks the Special Support Section to handle any support requests that fall through the cracks and to not be a burden on them. Wenzel frequently reports on the limits of the Bracer guilds activities in regards to the Republic and Empire, giving his insight as someone who was thankfully pulled out of Erebonia as the Guild's power decreased there. He slowly warms up to the idea of the SSS and appreciates them more after they prove themselves.
After Lloyd returns from exterminating the Altair lodge, Wenzel congratulates him. Wenzel continues to comment on the Empire's state, including the civil war and related developments . Wenzel is involved in protecting the civilians from the Mainz attack when the Red Constellation make a move. he takes out a wanted monster but comments it was tough to do so alone.
Wenzel helps protect the city when magical golems manifest, stating that the mayor will pay for his crimes.

Although not seen in person, Wenzel is mentioned as having returned to the Empire to help with the operation to locate Calvardian agents acting within the capital. He works on the East side of the city alongside Scherazard Harvey.

Wenzel is again not seen in person, but is mentioned prior to the independence ceremony as having permanently returned to the reopened Imperial branches.
In the postgame True Reverie Corridor, he is again mentioned, this time as having returned to Crossbell.
