A Day in the Lives of the SSS (再始動～支援課の一日～) is a Daydream in 영웅전설 시작의 궤적. Its events take place prior to the main story.

The Daydream can be accessed from the True Reverie Corridor.
Synopsis
S. 1207, Feb. 20th. Six days after the liberation of Crossbell each member of the Special Support Section was spending the days before the reindependence signing going about their respective duties. The four founding members of the SSS, as well as KeA Bannings and Chief Sergei Lou, were once again living together in their old home in Central Square. As they eat a meal together, they reflect on how each of them has grown and what they are planning on doing in the day. They plan to have a special farewell meal for Randy Orlando who is heading back to Erebonia for a month to hand over his duties as an instructor at Thors Branch Campus to his successor.
Elie MacDowell completes her schedule for mayor Henry MacDowell and is given the rest of the day off. They reflect on the state of Calvard with its new president who has come to power being incredibly popular. They talk about Ryan and Diana who are talking to each other again but have no plan to get back together, having each made a new life for themselves. Ryan, an ally of Samuel Rocksmith's political party is planning on standing against the current ruling party in Calvard.
KeA attends Sunday School in Crossbell Cathedral where she has been asked to help the younger children write a letter. Ken and Nana Crawford, and Colin Hayworth are present. KeA decides she will write a letter to Shizuku MacLaine who is in Remiferia.
Tio Plato visits Jona Sacred and they argue about his diet and eating more vegetables. The topic turns to the presence of something trying to force its way onto the orbal network. They decide to investigate, but also talk about the IBC building being given up by Reinford Group and lots of engineering groups from the continent moving branches in, including the Verne Company and Epstein Foundation.
Mireille and Randy discuss the security measures at Mishelam Wonderland with Matthew Crawford. Matthew introduces a new completely mechanical Mecha Mishy sent over by someone from the Roer Institute of Technology. Meanwhile, Lloyd Bannings impresses Alex Dudley and Sergei with his new paperwork and they remark on his growth as a detective. A message from Tio comes through and Lloyd rushes off, contacting Elie and KeA on the way.
Randy talks with Mireille about going away, which she is flustered about for him not telling her. The Mecha Mishy suddenly attacks and Randy blocks it from harming Mireille. They chase it to the beach where Randy takes it on alone whilst Mirielle evacuates the civilians and goes for reinforcements. Randy hears a howl from Zeit. The rest of the SSS arrive promptly and they take on and defeat the Mecha Mishy. They had been investigating the presence of a new virus in the Geofront and had been attacked by several more mecha Mishys, tracing a remaining signal to the Mishelam beach, explaining their swift arrival. Matthew states they will reconsider the Mecha Mishy and it is suggested to keep it locked away for now until it can be studied. They comment on Zeit's howl and suggest he must be watching out for them still.
That evening they have a meal and send-off party for Randy. Mireille brings up Randy's decision not to tell her but it turns out she misunderstood that it was only for a month, not an entire year. The others comment on how it is like a lovers' quarrel. They decide to play cards. later, KeA has a vision of Lapis Rosenberg but doesn't understand it fully, having lost her powers as the Azure Demiourgos. She finishes her letter to Shizuku recolelcting the SSS's activities.
Trivia
- In 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV, a group of visitors at Mishelam Wonderland discuss the benefits of a Mecha Mishy. It is possible that the one in this Daydream is the fruits of their efforts.
- Circumstances and later events suggest the virus was the early work of Elysium intergrating itself into Crossbell's systems. KeA's causality vision of Lapis, Elysium's abilities and the continued use of Mecha Mishy by Elysium later suport this idea.
