Riviera Court (リヴィエラコート) is a department store located in Ordis.
Background
Riviera Court is a shopping center co-owned by several noble families and managed chiefly by the Florald family, who are its chief investors. It is a popular site for nobles and it has a long and storied history, albeit with antiquated traditions. It was a famous part of Ordis and represented it, especially with its connection to the Noble faction. The connection with nobility has been a long-standing point of pride for them. The building had been carefully maintained by each generation over the past decades. Huck, a rival store owner, says the staff at Riviera Court have a hardy aura about them.
It was previously the best department store in ordis until the opening of the Kleist Mall which took many of its customers with thier better prices. Ferris Florald is put in place to rectify this sharp decline.

Riviera Court sees a sharp decline in business once a competitor Kleist Mall opens upon in Ordis. Rather than compete fairly, the sales manager of Kleist mall, Wads, organises a campaign to discredit Riviera Court, requring manager Ferris to ask Rean Schwarzer and the new Class VII for help. Malicious rumours about Riviera court were being spread, such as that thier butons fall off shirts, thier fruit is spoiled and that there are bugs in all the vegetables. The overall picture of the Court was to portray at as a place where the prices were incredibly high and the quality poor. 'Accident's start to befall thier shipments and people buy cheap imitations of their products.
After Ferris states the rumours started six months ago after the Mall opened its doors, Rean and company investigate. They try to get through to Wads who denies eveyrthing, necessitating the intervention of Hugo Kleist, who had ordered Wads to take Ordis in six month, but is displeased by the pretty tactics being used. The situation is resolved and Ferris' eyes are opened to the outdated ways of Riviera Court, which hasn't changed in decades. She has no plans to abandon thier traditions however and proposes a fair rivarly with Kleist Mall.

The government forcibly take over Riviera Court's premises and turn it into a conscription office. The staff and department store are forced to move to a more humble location in the harbour District, but thier permit for doing so has gone missing, requiring Rean and company to once again lend their assistance.
The situation is resolved and the store is relocated successfully. The store expresses a wish to be there for its customers and stay open, no matter what is happening in the world. They no longer chiefly sell good exclusively tailored to the nobility and have opened a section with commoners needs and wants in mind.
