Background
Class VII first enters the shrine on their search for the Lamare singularity. At the altar, they witness a vision of an elderly Dreichels, Lianne, and the curse hanging over him.

After the establishment of the Radiant Wings, Roselia Millstein calls Class VII to the shrine. Inside, they enter the Luna Sanctuary, where they battle Vita Clotilde, Aurelia Le Guin and Roselia in her true Holy Beast form to reveal the Spectral Moon Mirror's power.
The Mirror, an Artifact passed down from when the Hexen Clan was known as the Kin of Fire, was kept in the only shrine maintained by the witches. Connected through the Septium veins with other shrines and the Black Records, it was the source of all other visions they saw. After defeating Roselia the Burning Phoenix, the Mirror reveals to Class VII the truth behind the visions: how Ishmelga haunted Dreichels' soul, Giliath Osborne being Dreichels' reincarnation and falling to Ishmelga even under Arianrhod's watch after the raid on his home that killed Kasia and left Rean mortally wounded, leading to the latter having Osborne's heart transplanted into him, and Rutger Claussell's resurrection as an Immortal as part of Black Alberich's plan.
The revelations push Rean to the brink of going berserk again, but the Mirror also allows Valimar and Millium Orion, who is still conscious even in the form of the Originator Zero sword, to speak with Class VII and calm Rean down, stating that Ishmelga would only fight the winner of all the other Rivalries, making him vulnerable to defeat.
