Duncan is a man met in the Capua Hideout.
He's a maintenance technician on the airship Linde.

He gets taken hostage along with the rest of the crew as well as the passengers when the airliner is boarded and hijacked by the Capua Sky Bandits. He and the rest are then blindfolded and taken to the Capuas' hideout in Nebel Valley on board the sky bandits' ship where they're imprisoned in one of the rooms on the lower level of the hideout.
Their ordeal comes to an end when Estelle, Joshua, Scherazard and Olivier stow away on the sky bandits' ship, infiltrate the hideout and subdue the group of bandits guarding their cell. When the army arrives, Duncan, along with his colleagues and the passengers, are transported back to town.
Duncan's duties on board the Linde involve maintaining the airliner's engine and he has developed somewhat of a bond with it, always keeping it in top shape. As a result, he's extremely upset when the sky bandits rip it from its compartment after forcing the ship down.

Duncan is briefly encountered again during Estelle's flight from Grancel to Ruan after her return from Le Locle where he's found in the cargo hold as usual, commenting on how many orbments they're shipping around these days.
Relations
Duncan is a subordinate of Captain Grandt and is a colleague of Timon, Parker, Clare and Colton.
