Look Back to Look Forward is a Daydream in 영웅전설 시작의 궤적. Its events take place after the main story but prior to the events in Extra Chapter "몽환의 저편으로".
Background
The Daydream can be accessed from the True Reverie Corridor.
Synopsis
The Daydream begins with a monologue by the Grandmaster upon the Eternal Recurrence Plan, the false nature of the world and its hidden truths and whether humanity will or will not be able to overcome something.
Using Angbar, McBurn forces his way into the Celestial Globe and addresses the Grandmaster. She comments that he hasn't been here in a decade, or since he had received Angbar alongside Leonhardt receiving Kernviter. She is impressed that he found his way there without the aid of Campanella and only half of his memories. McBurn states he has an idea of who or what the Grandmaster is now, but to say as such might mean she cannot maintain her form. He states his work with the world doesn't appear to be done, even though he isn't from it, although he has grown an attachment to it. The Grandmaster agrees and states she would have him fulfil his duty as the #01, different the Anguis and #0, and as the 'Beacon'. They then discuss the replacement for Arianrhod and how the Grandmaster has found a suitable replacement after a short delay. The choice will be upon them to decide whether to accept or not as it is a heavy burden.
F. Novartis arrives in a hurry to report the latest results from his observations and Elysium. He is incredibly flustered by McBurn who seems to know about Novartis's Simulacrum of the former and subsequent irritation. Novartis nevertheless asks McBurn if he knows anything about the sudden interference, as it wasn't Ouroboros, the Epstein Foundation or the Septian Church behind it. McBurn initially has no idea why he would know or why Novartis would even ask him until something clicks and he asks if it has anything to do with what The Oathbreaker. Novartis ponders about a group that is based in Ored when a new interruption occurs.
Projecting his image via the use of an M.T.S.C. interface, Roy Gramheart, the new president of Calvard appears to greet the Grandmaster. Novartis is hocked to see him, but more so by the symbol of M.T.S.C. used. Gramheart remarks that there seems to be little that Mira cannot buy, and that he is not part of the group. He greets the Grandmaster and makes a proposal that their groups do not interfere with each others plans for two and half years. The Grandmaster states how Gramheart is the most formidable opponent to their Eternal Recurrence Plan and that he is a hard man to negotiate with in a different way to Giliath Osborne. She accepts the agreement not to interfere for the two and a half years. Gramheart also adds that they should not infringe upon the Republic Charter.
