Manager Lechter is an inhabitant of the town of Bose.
While Mayor Maybelle is the owner of the exclusive Anterose, her duties as the town's elected official don't leave her with enough time to also fully manage a three star restaurant on the side. As such, she has hired Lechter to manage the business in her place. While he seems to do an adequate job running the place, he doesn't seem to command a great deal of respect among his staff, who mention that he's the a rather weak-willed man who's a large contrast compared to the strong-willed Maybelle.
Shortly after the arrival of Estelle, Joshua and Scherazard in Bose, Lechter makes the mistake of hiring Olivier Lenheim as the restaurant's pianist. They were already looking for someone to perform that job, Olivier's musical talents were undeniable and his offer to work in exchange for nothing but food and drink from the restaurant seemed too good to refuse, but it also turned out to be too good to be true and to Lechter's horror, Olivier downed a valuable 20-year old Grand Chardonnay wine worth 500,000 mira he took from the wine cellar without a second thought.
After screaming like a little girl at the loss of the exclusive wine (according to the staff), Lechter immediately had Olivier arrested and thrown into jail at the nearby Haken Gate. Fortunately for Olivier, Mayor Maybelle bailed him out and dropped the charges in exchange for his assistence in tracking down the sky bandits. Nevertheless, Lechter felt severely depressed due to such a valuable bottle of wine having been lost on his watch.

Lechter is the employee of Mayor Maybelle and the superior of Lenore, Citron, Head Chef Ross and Gwen.
