Lenore is an inhabitant of the town of Bose.
She works as a waitress in the famed Anterose Restaurant. The restaurant has some very capable people working there and most of them came to work there after being sought out and hired by Mayor Maybelle, the restaurant's owner.
Lenore is an exception to this rule. She used to work as a waitress in a restaurant in Zeiss and met Maybelle by coincidence when the latter was visiting Zeiss and having a bite to eat. The two got into a conversation and Lenore joked about working at the Anterose after hearing pay was pretty good there without knowing who she was talking to. Maybelle then introduced herself as the owner of the Anterose and offered Lenore a job, which she happily accepted.
