Mister Effort is an employee of Jenis Royal Academy.
He's part of the school's teaching staff and is responsible for teaching physical education. In addition to gym classes, he also has his own room in the boys' dormitory and patrols that particular dorm during the evening. His motto is that it takes both a healthy body and a healthy mind to succeed in life.
Mister Effort is also the person carrying a key to the abandoned school building behind the academy. On the evening before the festival, one of his students, Mickey, borrowed the key under the pretense of needing to retrieve material for set dressing for the play. His real intention, however, was hiding in there and having a nap instead of helping out the rest with final preparations. Mickey's plans were ruined though by the presence of several groups of large spiders inside the building, causing him to quickly flee the building and return the key.
Upon hearing that monsters infested the abandoned building, Mister Effort hurriedly went there to close it off, only to find Estelle, Kloe and Jill exitting the building and telling him that the monsters were already exterminated. Despite this being a relief, Mister Effort decided not to run any risks and locked up the building anyway and then went back to the dorms, promising himself to work Mickey extra hard during the next gym class as payback for deceiving him.
After the play, Mister Effort joined the students and the rest of the teachers in the auditorium to kick back, relax and celebrate a succesful festival. He did get curious and try on Joshua's princess costume himself backstage, much to Miss Wiola's horror.

Mister Effort is a subordinate of Dean Collins and a colleague of Janitor Parkes, Fauna, Deborah, Mister Ratio, Miss Millia and Miss Wiola
