The Avon Hills (エイボン丘陵) are a vast area located in Lamare Province, Erebonia.

Background

The Avon Hills encompass a large open area with tall rock formations and arches and a variety of monsters. The area can be accessed south of the Milsante Byroad that leads from Milsante to Raquel.

New Class VII travels to the Avon Hills using the teleportation stone from the Eerie Woods in order to get to Milsante and the Lamare region in general on their hunt for the singularity that will let them locate the Black Workshop. Later, it is the site for an extermination request to take out one of the Seventy-Seven Devils, Rostrum, which had manifested in the area. It also is one of several spots connected to Eryn's Fairy Springs through the spirit veins, and by placing a stake at the fairy spring which appears in the area, the springs can be purified from the disturbance caused by the Great Twilight.

Kaela requests Class VII's help to apprehend a unit of Hercules that had gone rogue under the influence of the Erebonian Curse and were using the hills as a hideout. This section was only accessible through bypassing a large metal barrier, but Rean Schwarzer is able to destroy the lock with his Eight Leaves One Blade style. Approaching the twelve members of Hercules in a pincer movement, they eventually apprehend the unit. A fishing spot can also be found here.
