Valimar after 린 슈바르처 inherits the curse (영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV).

길리아스 오스본 saved his son 린 슈바르처 by having his own heart transferred to his son. His heart, however, was under influence of Erebonia's curse. As a result, the young Rean obtained a dangerous power referred to as ogre power. He gradually learns to gain control over that power. The power becomes uncontrollable when Rean sees his friend 밀리엄 오라이온 sacrifice herself. At that point, Rean is branded as the Sacrifice.

The reason 린 슈바르처 was chosen as sacrifice by the curse was in order to have a spare of 길리아스 오스본, who served as the curse's main body. His ogre power and subsequently white hair and red eyes serve as a mark of his destiny as sacrifice.

When Osborne dies at the end of 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 IV, the curse transfers itself to Rean's body.
