Troy is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.
He's a kid usually found near the fountain in the southern section of the royal city hanging out together with his friends Dick and Raleigh. All three of them are very large fans of the martial arts competition and when they're not attending the matches, they're discussing the various fights and making predictions on who's going to win.
Troy is most likely the youngest of the three friends or at least his friends treat him that way. Raleigh likes to keep an eye on him to prevent him from getting into trouble, something that Troy is prone to. On the day of the preliminaries, he almost causes his friends and himself to miss the matches because he lost his entry ticket. Two days later, he accidentally winds up in front of Grancel Castle despite having agreed to meet up with his friends in front of the fountain near the town gates, without really knowing why.
Troy has the tendency to wander off and due to his horrible sense of direction, he frequently gets lost in town. Nevertheless, he's known for having the occasional flash of insight. He predicted early that the bracers would win the tournament, but he was also one of the few people who noticed that 2nd Lieutenant Lorence was holding back during the competition's final match.
