Private Jules is a soldier serving in the Royal Army.
He's stationed at Sanktheim Gate checkpoint separating the cities Zeiss and Grancel and can be found guarding the gate on the Zeiss side.
When first spoken to, he enthusiastically greets Estelle and Joshua and encourages them to take a little walk on the Ahnenburg Wall, the wall surrounding the Grancel region of which the checkpoint is part of. He becomes a little bit more strict and distant after the Central Factory is attacked and the entire checkpoint is placed on emergency status, no longer talking and asking the bracers to move along.
He becomes a bit more talkative again after the inspections are suddenly cancelled, mentioning he has no idea why the higherups would just relax security despite the fact that the attackers haven't been caught yet and that he's not the only one who thought the command was a mistake instead, though he feels that it's not his place to question an order from superiors.
According to Tammy, the waitress at the checkpoint's mess hall who has a crush on him, Jules is really good-looking, but also a bit stiff.
Relations
Private Jules is a collegue of Private Wayne, Private Hector, Private Chesley, Private Wolpe and Private Olnis.
In addition, he's a subordinate of Chief Watch Officer Dale and Watch Officer Talbot.
He's also the object of Tammy's affection.
