Sister Frieda is the nun on duty at the Ruan branch of the Septian Church.
Like her fellow cleric, Father Theodore, she's caught in the awkward situation of serving at a branch in a tourist-oriented town, resulting in quite a few visitors attending church in order to look at the sunlight shining through the stained glass windows, rather than out of faith.
Despite the visitors no longer being as devoted to the church as they used to be, Sister Frieda is still completely dedicated to her duties and after he fire at the Mercia Orphanage, she plans to visit the children together with Father Theodore in order to lift their spirits.
