Claire is an inhabitant of the town of Bose.
It seems almost impossible to believe, given its importance to the town and its inhabitants, but despite having lived in Bose her entire life, Claire has never even visited the marketplace until the day Estelle, Joshua and Scherazard arrive in town, suggesting she's perhaps a sheltered child from an upper-class family.
She started slowly, moving from just observing to actually buying stuff. She takes a quick liking to the place though, growing especially fond of Katrina's sponge cakes, despite finding it awkward to eat to-go meals. Her parents apparently don't like her leaving the house and going on shopping trips, but after her first day, she decides to ignore their wishes, despite the fact that she gets scolded whenever she's caught sneaking out.
