Sharnelle is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.
She's a woman usually found walking the street in the western section of the royal city.
Like many inhabitants of the city, she's worried about the Queen after hearing of her "illness" and the news about the condition of the country's monarch has caused Sharnelle to lose most of the interest she had in the martial arts competition. Upon hearing that, due to the Queen's absence, there won't be a discount for tournament tickets this year, she decides not to go at all and instead just take advantage of the fact that there'll be barely any people in the department store during the matches to do some shopping.
She also has a strong dislike for Duke Dunan and hates the fact that he's appointed royal proxy, but feels bad for Colonel Richard for having to babysit the duke, unaware that the colonel is the one who put the duke in that position in the first place.
As the birthday celebration draws near, she hopes to be able to see Princess Klaudia this year, mentioning that the princess is very cute in a "girl next door" kind of way and that she wished she had a daughter like her. After the coup is thwarted and the birthday celebration starts, she does manage to catch a glimpse of the princess, noting that both she and the Queen looked well.
