Valleria Lakeshore is a popular tourist destination located on the shores of Valleria Lake in Liberl's Bose region. The Kingfisher Inn is located here and it is a major fishing spot, especially for the Fisherman's Guild members from Grancel.

Background

A getaway for people who want to relax and enjoy the view of the lake or to spend time with their loved ones with, Valleria Lakeshore is a small and simple area for enthusiasts in fishing and for having a fun vacation with the family members. It is possible to travel to Grancel by boat from there. The Kingfisher Inn offers a place to stay, dishes made from fish caught in the area, fishing gear for rent and a few docks for boats. The shore's fishing spot is also known amongst fisherman and members of the Fisherman Guild, for being the home of the "Guardian of Valleria Lake", an extremely difficult fish to catch.

After a series of burglaries in Bose's South Block, Estelle, Joshua, Scherazard, and Olivier head for Valleria Lakeshore after receiving information about suspicious visitors coming to the lake at the night from one of the residents. There, a fisherman says that he had seen two suspicious individuals two nights before, after wrestling with the Guardian very late at night. He saw the odd couple head towards the New Ansel Path, and notes he heard them say that they would meet again in two days.

The group decides to stay at the inn until nightfall to find the perpetrators. Each decides to do something to kill the time: Joshua reads, Estelle fishes, and Schera and Olivier drink to their heart's content. Estelle and Joshua reminisce about their first meeting, and after dinner, Olivier is too drunk after Schera intentionally drank him under the table.

The bracers spot Josette and Kyle Capua talking with masked men in black about the ransom and the Royal Army's search. They decide to find the airship while they talk, with Olivier unexpectedly joining them, and proposes sneaking onto the airship as stowaways to infiltrate the bandits' hideout.

Background

After Estelle and her group help solve the situation in Bose emerging from Ouroboros' experiments, Mayor Maybelle pays for them to have some time off at the Kingfisher Inn. On arrival they meet Kevin there, who has been investigating the Tetracyclic Towers, and exchanges information with them. While the rest enjoy their break, Estelle reminisces about the time Joshua and her spent there before, with Kevin trying to act as moral support again.

However they are interrupted by a boat with an unconscious Kurt Nardin aboard. The group takes him to a room and take care of his injuries, with Kevin using the Septian Church's Thaumaturgy to restore his memories. Kurt tells them that his group found Ouroboros' facility hidden on the lakeside, but they were overpowered and only he managed to escape. Estelle and Kevin decide to set off to infiltrate the facility with some of the group while the rest stay behind with Kurt.
