Mayner is an inhabitant of the city of Bose.
He is a butler of the city's mayor and is first met when Estelle, Joshua and Scherazard drop by to see Maybelle about the investigation she requested the Bracer Guild to conduct. Since the mayor was out at the time, Mayner tells the bracers that his mistress is currently attending church and that she can be recognized by the fact that she's almost always accompanied by her maid.
Mayner seems to have been in the employ of Maybelle's family for some time and tends to worry about his mistress like a father would. At one point he mentions hoping for Maybelle to find herself a good husband in the future.

Mayner is the employee of Mayor Maybelle and the colleague of Lila and Sarah.
