Lakeisha is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.
She's a young woman who's pregnant of their first child and who recently moved into one of the houses facing the Baral Coffee House in the western section of the royal city together with her husband Phelio.

Living in the royal city has been a dream of her husband for a long time and they recently got the opportunity to move there, but after they settled into their new home, reality quickly started catching up with them as her husband had to go look for a job to pay the rent.
Phelio isn't the most driven person in the world though and ever since the move, he's only been goofing off and talking about getting a job, rather than going out and finding one, much to Lakeisha's dismay who feels like he hasn't done anything useful with his life ever since they moved houses. Although he's supposed to be looking for a job during the day of the final tournament match, Lakeisha knows he probably won't be seriously looking anyway, so she makes the choice for him to go see the final match together since it's been a long time since the two of them have gone on a date.

After the thwarting of the Intelligence Division's coup, the capital's harbor reopens and Phelio manages to find a job as a bookkeeper in the harbormaster's office some time afterwards. Lakeisha and her husband are seen again on the airship Linde during Estelle's flight from Grancel to Ruan after her return from Le Locle. Phelio turns out to be enthusiastic about gambling and took a few days off as soon as he heard that the Lavantar Casino in Ruan finished its renovations, arguing that it's important to hang back and have fun every once in a while, despite the fact he got his current job only recently. Lakeisha has mixed feelings about it, feeling that their holidays was the direct result of Phelio hearing about the newly reopened casino rather than him randomly taking some time off after a long bout of hard work. She admits that he HAS been working hard as of late, but feels anxious about letting go of the reins too much.
While Phelio can be rather lazy, Lakeisha partially blames herself for not motivating him more instead of merely feeling silently frustrated at his bouts of laziness, spells of complete single-mindedness and tendency to get distracted by small things while losing sight of the big picture. Lakeisha eventually pulls herself together and starts being more open about her grievances to her husband, taking it upon herself to spend more effort in keeping him grounded and focussed.
